Krakow based party series we are radar and szum team up for a night in the one and only Sameheads.

This special night includes a dj set of Unsound’s resident Olivia - known for her unique and deep digged vinyl sets and numerous releases on labels such as Pinkman. Music producer and live performer Chino who has released on labels as Uncanny Valley, Syntetyk… In addition he contributes visually to the scene as a graphic designer and is the author of the poster of this night’s event.

Third Radar’s member Kinzo Chrome will come back to Sameheads to perform his debut LIVE set on an analogue hard ware set up inspired by some Acid and EBM.

And last but not least Szum’s organizer and music producer Charlie playing a Dj set. Come out for some Krakow dungeon vibes and get a taste of the polish dance.

Jędrzej Kowalczyk, also known as "Kovvalsky", is a dj, promoter, radio host, artistic director and a resident of the Jasna 1 club in Warsaw. He has been active on the club scene for over 16 years and has also been the driving force behind Jasna 1, which is one of the brightest and most important clubs on the Polish club scene. At Jasna, Kovvalsky has been solely responsible for club programming, where he did not cut corners and never settled for anything that was no in line with his vision for the club - as a result he was able to build a one of a kind club community, as well as a truly unique roster of resident DJs.

Outside of his work with Jasna 1, he has also been very prominent on the local Polish scene and has performed in most major clubs and festivals in the country. On top of it, he has also regularly played abroad in clubs such as: Berlin's Griessmuehle, RSO and //:about blank, Alphabet in Tel Aviv, Ankali in Prague, Korner in Taipei, Lizdas in Kaunas, Ballesta in Madrid or Klub 20/44 in Belgrade. Kovvalsky can be characterized by a broad musical spectrum; from disco classics and italo experiments to house, electro, techno and songs that no one can expect.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that together with Pitti Schmitti, Kovvalsky has been running his own club night KOD (Disco Defence Committee), which quickly became one of the unmissable series on the Polish club scene. The main mission behind these nights is to offer something new and exciting to a scene overly saturated with generic techno.

It's already been a decade since J Dilla — the mercurial producer and rapper from Detroit — passed away and his posthumously completed album, The Shining, saw the light of day on BBE Records. 

As they prepare to release the project on 7" for the first time, we're extremely honoured to get our hands on a never-before-heard mixtape by the master himself. Made some time between mid-1999 and early 2000, it's a fly-on-the-wall showing of what Jay Dee had blaring out of his speakers while on the sofa or by the MPC.
