Memórias de Oneyda was produced during the RMX residency held by São Paulo's public cultural center CCSP in celebration of the 85 years of the sound library Oneyda Alvarenga. All percussion, beats, harmonic layers used in the EP were extracted from the vast collection of the Discotheque - Most of the vocals were taken from the mission of folkloric research, idealized by Mario de Andrade in the ’30s. The track's sonorities were adapted to the texture and quality from the oldest recording - seeking for an intersection between contemporary sound and a 30’s acetate disc. As if it was an old recording from a parallel reality.

The track is designed to channel the energy of transformation and change, which can be difficult, scary, or challenging, but ultimately helps us to constantly improve and grow.
