First double booked weekend!! 2 shows 24hrs apart and a 220 km drive.  Played a set at Glo after hours around 11pm then hit the highway to drive through the night out to the next party!! Was in such a rush I left my headphones in the booth lol 🥴 they were a bit choked I did not stick around but nothing feels cooler then having to bounce cause of another gig and that was a first for me so I took it in stride simply acted like this happened all the time lol.🏃🏻‍♂️This party was held out in a small town past Hope Bc.  The whole place came to life when a bunch of dj’s and music lovers showed up and set up one of the coolest looking stages I have ever seen !  Big love out to True Crew prez Carew for an epic Show with on point Alice in wonderland vibes all weekend.  🧚🏼‍♂️🐰🌄

💥TECH HOUSE💥 Cmax is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival.  His first passion was emceeing so when he got the chance to finally combine them he could not turn it down. Tech house with a dash of DNB and Funk 🔊💯🎶❤️  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many dope places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.  I feel it helps people connect with the music if you know where it’s from and offers a new experience during the set“  🛫🌎🌍🌏🛬
