Under the stars music festival sunrise set.  My first time playing live by myself and first time really performing and only the second time ever using CDJ’s happened to be in front of a packed crowd with tons of my homies going on right after headliner and record label owner Sheps !!  Set time was 5-6 am and I expected nobody to still be up,  I had slept for the last 5 hours and when I woke up everyone was still up sending it and dancing their ass off!!! The dj that helped me put my songs onto my usb the day before slept through his set and Sheps a crowd favourite filled in for him.  Having to play after such a sick set where the people were having the times of their life was definitely nerve racking.  Nobody could believe it was my first time playing and the looks on my face when the mixes worked were god dam priceless.  This is my first recorded mix and first festival slot.  one love. 🙏❤️🔊🎶🥳💯

💥TECH HOUSE💥 Cmax is a second generation DJ.  His father was among the first djs to start the movement and offer to play records at clubs in the early 70's out in New Brunswick Canada.  Cmax has been an avid music festival attendee here in BC for years now,  having hit his first Shambhala in 2004 and watching Basscoast grow to be one of the most desirable festivals in Canada. The summer of 2021 brought on the opportunity to put a set together for Under the stars festival.  His first passion was emceeing so when he got the chance to finally combine them he could not turn it down. Tech house with a dash of DNB and Funk 🔊💯🎶❤️  “ City Props was an idea I came up with in the summer of 2022,  displaying where each producer is from during my set and paying homage to the city where the music was produced, remixed or edited.  There are so many dope places all over the world pumping out different genres of music and they all have their own piece of flavour attached to them.
