Inventions in Solitude is the title of this concert and also a group of short piano pieces I completed 2021, when thanks to lockdown, there was almost nothing else to do. 
Farewell  was composed on hearing the news of the death from Covid 19 of my old friend and brilliant composer Dimitri Smirnov. 
I dedicate this composition to all those whose lives have been cut short during this terrible pandemic.

For each musical piece there is a story hidden inside. Enjoy this "Hidden Inside", played on the virtual version of The Giant. Until recently it was the biggest piano in the world but now it's creator, David Klavins, made even bigger Regina. I got the chance to play The Giant in real life and I hope to get a chance to play Regina this year!
