My friend Jon wrote this little melody in a work of his for Music Theory II. I liked it so much, I wrote a whole piece based on those 8 notes alone!

Variations On A Theme By Jon

I decided to try my hand out at writing film score-esque music based on the traditional Hero's Journey. It turned out to quite a journey indeed! It's my first foray into writing for larger groups, and my first time wrangling with VSTs. Maybe I'll scale it down for a little while after this. 

The only software used (as usual) are Finale and GPO4.
