Returning back into the office on Monday morning, especially after taking an extended break, can be very tough for many who dread their jobs. And yet as Call Me Ace explains, even though, according to statistics, most of us aren’t satisfied with our jobs, we all “have” to work in order to survive. To bring this album full-circle, Ace completes the “Out Of Office” storyline by pulling his listeners into the narrative, sharing tips for self-fulfillment and empowerment within the workplace along the way.

Framed around the inevitable reality that we live on borrowed time, Call Me Ace pleads for hope while admittedly acknowledging his fears of losing loved ones. Whether the loss is due to natural causes or unwarranted circumstances (like domestic violence), Ace painfully expresses how distance, work demands, and the ebb and flow of life separate him from the people that matter the most. And although he’s innately perseverant, Ace demonstrates how the darkest times can deplete his hopeful mindset, and leave even him questioning his faith, commitment, and purpose.

Which boundaries are required for honoring your worth and self-respect? On his path to pursuing a music and corporate career, Call Me Ace has seen naysayers turn into disingenuous “supporters” who only measure his value according to how he can progress them forward or how they can gain visibility by association. He has also experienced spectators who have attempted to exaggerate “knowing” him beyond his public brand. But is it admirable or problematic? Ace would rather engage with authenticity to avoid undesirable and depleting situations. But even though it’s instinctive for Ace to connect and empower others, is every interaction worth it?
