For the latest edition of the Replug Podcast, we are really happy to have a special mix from Montreal’s Hicky & Kalo. 

Both born and raised in Canada, they have been influencing the sounds of the city's underground over the last half a decade and are regulars throughout Quebec's club circuit, but it is the world-renowned Stereo Nightclub which has served as the home base for Hicky and Kalo's impeccable taste and programming skills. Also accomplished producers, the duo's deep melodic sounds have found a home on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, When We Dip's XYZ and their own Plaisirs Sonores imprint as well as their recent EP on Replug “Eyes of Truth”.

An absolute honor to be invited to play the opening set for the legendary Sasha, at one of the best clubs in Brooklyn.  Held down the main room for a little over 4 hours.  Not many DJs in my position in NY have had the opportunity to do this, so I am very grateful to have the experience, as it is something I have been waiting patiently for.  Got the chance to push the envelope just a bit, and hand it off to Sasha to take it over into the later (or early) morning hours.  

For me, there is something very special about starting off a club night and witnessing the club slowly fill up, as the people gradually loosen up and get into their zones on the dance-floor as the night takes off.  It''s definitely one of my favorite things to watch and experience as a DJ, looking out into the crowd, and experiencing that at Output was certainly something memorable for me.

Thanks to Brad Miller and the Output team for inviting me to play and having me back once again.  Thanks to everyone who came out to hear me play and showed support.  Was quite delightful to see so many familiar faces in the sea of hungry clubbers.
