"Krom" is Phnom Penh based - and is composer / songwriter / guitarist / vocalist, Christopher Minko, working with Khmer vocalists Sophea Chamroeun and Sopheak Chamroeun (the "Chamroeun Sisters"), Jimmi Baeik (guitar/sax/accordion), and sound engineer Sarin Chhuon - and guest musicians.

A Krom song mixes the traditional Delta Blues sound blended with overtones of traditional Khmer. Christopher Minko, the founder of Krom, writes the music, writes English lyrics, plays the guitar and sings the English songs. Sophea Chamroeun and Sopheak Chamroeun sing the Khmer songs and contribute vocals on some of the English songs. Sophea Chamroeun writes the Khmer lyrics.

Krom songs emanate from many years of life in South East Asia and a Krom song speaks for itself.
