For Trush she put together a full on energy house mix, starting out deep and hypnotic, continuing into powerful and energy driven Chicago house at its finest. Energy driven music, and then into a more melodic landscape, always on point! A length of 50 minutes, makes this short, but no less powerful!

Perfect for the vibe of this summer, while we slowly are getting back into the groove! Hopefully it will last!

After living in Berlin for 3 years I finally decided to deal with the records I'd left in storage back in California. I ended up saving about 200 12"s/records/LPs and about 35/40 7"s and bringing them back with me.

I thought it would be a fun exercise to make a mix as I listened back to stuff I haven't heard in a while. This is that exercise (with only 7"s). No real agenda, just hit record and started playing some things. Hope you enjoy :)

Bayu is based in Melbourne, Australia and has co-compiled two releases for A Colourful Storm: I Won’t Have To Think About You, and most recently, Still In My Arms. I haven’t caught up with him for months but still dream of doing more projects together.

“I have been doing the same things as usual when I’m at home – just a lot more of it and trying to be better at it. Music stuff, keeping in touch with family and friends, cooking, reading. The daily routine has definitely changed, though – it feels like I have one now, compared to the time before quarantine.“

Happy new year! Welcome back to the rest of your life. To quote the great Limmy “if last year was the worst year of your life then good, it can only get better, and if it wasn’t the worst year you’ve had then even better”. Hopefully there are some silver linings and you're taking some positives from it all. the biggest positive for me is the incredible amount of music. This transmission is definitely a part of that wave. 
 
It is with real pleasure that I present to you an hour of beautifully improvised live music from the brilliant minds of Polito, a locally grown 4 piece, consisting of two composers and two dancers. Together they produce magic for the ears and eyes. 
Following on from their debut release on Butter Sessions last year (HUGE TIP!!) it’s easy to see them staying for the future, fine representatives of Aus music for years to come. I cannot wait to experience them as a whole, live, and direct. 
 
Side note: we made it to 50!! (Wild)
 
The following hour of music is just phenomenal, filled with intoxicating little crescendos, emotional bites, schizophrenic synths, spikes of curiosity, washed-out dub, and vast wonderland’s of pure joy., The natural progression throughout is so well constructed it acts as a hypnotic portal, ignoring space and time. This is something you have to digest as a whole, multiple times, each time you will get something different. This is your cue to do exactly that and again.
