CNCRD, prononcer « Concorde » est un projet monté en 2014 par deux potes d’enfance : Mathias et Benjamin (alias dURAb et Bennbob). Les deux se connaissent depuis le tout début des années 2000, à squatter les bancs d’école ensemble au pied du Luberon dans la fantomatique ville d’Apt, où ils jouent du rock avec leurs potes de lycée. Le duo s’adonne déjà aux joies de l’auto-production en enregistrant plusieurs maquettes avec les moyens du bord. 

Les deux amis poursuivent des parcours distincts : dURAb suit ses études entre le conservatoire d’Aix-en-Provence et celui d’Avignon, enchaine les collaborations avec divers projets aux influences variées et se lance dans la production ; Bennbob quand il n’est pas à son boulot de communicant dans l’évènementiel (clubs, concerts, festivals…), co-fonde un blog de musique, écrit pour plusieurs magazines locaux et s’adonne aux joies du DJ-set dans divers lieux cools de Montpellier.
C’est deux visions de la musique qui s’entrecroisent et se complètent avec Cncrd. dURAb est passionné par le rock indé et le jazz, alors que Bennbob écoute plus d’électronique et de hip-hop, cela dit on retrouve chez eux de nombreuses influences communes : Daft Punk, Archive, Mr Oizo, Chemical Brothers, Mogwai. De longs moments passés à écouter des disques ensemble scellent l’envie de recréer un duo quinze ans après : Cncrd est né. 

Depuis 2014 les morceaux prennent forme, dURAb y met tout son savoir-faire et Bennbob son instinct et sa fougue. Avril 2016 voit le projet s’officialiser avec la sortie de leur premier EP éponyme.

CNCRD est ainsi prêt à décoller !

CNCRD, pronounce « Concorde » is a musical project from Montpellier created in 2014 by two old friends : Mathias and Benjamin (dURAb and Bennbob). They met  in high school , in a ghost town from the south of France named Apt. At this time, the duo began to record music on old computers and cheap gears.
After high school, dURAb studied music in different Music Schools, was involved in  many projects from Jazz to Indie Rock and started to produce music. 
In the meantime Bennbob,when not working as a communication manager, began to write his own music blog, papers in the musical press and was DJaying in many nice places of Montpellier. 
Two differents approaches converge in CNCRD: dURAb is very interested in indie rock and jazz when Bennbob finds his influences in electronic and hip-hop music. 
Fortunately they share a lot of common 
influences : Daft Punk, 
Archive, Mr Oizo, Chemical brothers, Mogwai and many more...
After many hours spent together , listening to music , the desire to recreate the duo they once were came back :and fifteen years later CNCRD was born.

Since 2014 new materials take shape, dURAb uses his talent and knowledge in production, Bennbob  his instinct and spontaneity. 
The project becomes official in april 2016 with the releasing of  their first EP.

CNCRD is now ready to take off !
