Oscuridad Sintética is a powerful collaboration between two distinct forces in electronic music. Dark Vektor, one of the pioneers of electro in Spain, brings his sharp, rhythmic precision and deeply rooted electro grooves to the table. With a career spanning decades, Dark Vektor has shaped and influenced the underground electro scene, known for his futuristic beats and ability to push boundaries within the genre.

In this track, his sound is fused with a darker, industrial edge influenced by Nightcrawler, an artist known for his atmospheric, haunting soundscapes that dive into the depths of retro-futurism and horror synth. This blend of Nightcrawler's shadowy influence with Dark Vektor’s signature electro rhythms results in a track that captures the essence of synthetic darkness, a journey into a world where cold machines meet raw emotion.

Co-Accused return for their second release of 2024 with a hand picked V/A sharing sounds from some of the label’s favourite electro and techno producers. Underground legends and fearsome up-and-comers come on board to the Glasgow based label with Luke’s Anger, SOD-90, Steve Allman, Mal_Hombre and Parand delivering tracks. CR006 VA is selected for the dancefloor, tried and tested in Co-Accused's own DJ sets.

Luke’s Anger launches the EP with some up for it wonky business in ‘Choplifter’. From one of the masters of the wonky techno sound Luke’s Anger continues in full form with his tight yet askew playful beats. SOD-90 comes in next with ‘Saving Up For Botox’ with his fearless punk take on the electro sound - his own brand of high intensity atmospherics mixed with distorted synth lines, vocals and kicking breaks. Cultivated Electronics’ Steve Allman leads the B Side with ‘This is Not A Dream’ calling on driving hoover bass and haunting synths in classic UK electro style. For the B2 Mal_Hombre takes the EP down a deeper and more spatial path with ‘Triangulation’ with delicately detailed and propulsive techno, a long time friend of the label whose debut album Andromeda Outpost released on Jeff Mill’s iconic Axis Records. Topping the whole thing off Berlin based producer and Avoidant alumni Parand delivers the final hit with Bloc - a powerful, pitch black, driving heads down moment.

Detroit's Filthiest returns with his first EP on Motor City Electro Company in 7 years. "Hell Hath No Fury" is an action packed release with inspirations from the dark side of Detroit's Filthiest.

The Baghdad-born, Detroit-made musician and Ghettotech innovator, Detroit's Filthiest (real name Julian Shamou) boasts 25 years as a multi-genre magician. DJ Nasty, Digitek, 313 Bass Mechanics - these were his aliases in the '90s when he was part of a movement from Detroit that established Ghettotech as a DJ style as well as an electronic music genre. In 2015, following Disclosure's sampling of his "Pass Out" track (as 313 Bass Mechanics) for their hit "Bang That", he re-entered the game as Detroit's Filthiest. He's gone on to release a host of tracks, covering Electro, House, Techno, Drum & Bass and more, often blending them with Soul and Funk, for labels including Casa Voyager, Defected, Defrostatica, Bass Agenda, Philthtrax, Motech Records and his own Motor City Electro Company.

On "Hell Hath No Fury" he brings his own unique take on Electro and Drum & Bass tracks. With 2 apiece, the tracks are dance floor ready to once again shake your speakers and move your feet.

Co-Accused have a solid reputation in the Glasgow underground scene. From their notorious basement parties in Club 69, to playing festivals like Riverside & Platform 18. Over the years they've taken their sounds to cities like Amsterdam, Barcelona, Liverpool and London. 
Their techno and electro label Co-Accused Records has a dynamic ethos, channelling what they describe as “sonic grooves from another galaxy”. The label has received strong support from artists like Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier and Slam. They are building an impressive back catalogue with releases from Ben Pest, Jensen Interceptor, Fear-E, Sosak, Acidulant, Ara-U and Radioactive Man. 
Co-Accused's own productions have also appeared on Soma Records sub-label Avoidant and the Berlin based label Sävy Records. In addition, Lindsay's solo track 'Creepin' was released on Sync 24's label Cultivated Electronics, and Raymond's solo work has been remixed by Hardfloor and The Horrorist.
