Formed in 2010, Coalition is the union of Ex-Wild Flowers members Michael Woolstencroft, Simon Hughes and System Fault's James Collard. Completing the quartet is ex-3days drummer Ryan Plant.

Playing a mature blend of original alternative rock mostly wrote by Michael "10 songs a day" Woolstencroft, Coalition will be playing gigs over the North West shortly starting with 23/10/10 at Stockport's Blue Cat Cafe.

Our CD, From The Shadows, will be available to purchase soon from band members at our gigs.

We'd also like to thank James Higginson for the artwork he has provided for the band.

"Coalition have been together for 4 months and are based in and around the Manchester area.
The band consists of ex Wild Flowers members Michael Woolstencroft (Lead vocals and guitar) and Simon Hughes (backing vocals and lead guitar), System Fault's James Collard (bass) and ex 3day's Ryan Plant (drummer)

Tonight they are headlining the Roadhouse. On arrival the band introduce themselves and seem confident the gig will go smoothly.

The band were on stage at 10pm and are very quick to set up and are eager to play. The set was filled with songs that worked well and are known to the crowd.
The band played confidently together which came across in their performance and they interacted well with the crowd.
The band dedicated a song to everyone who had come to see them. This shows they value every single person who supports them and makes the effort to come see them live.

At the end of the gig they thanked everyone again.
I really enjoyed watching these guys play and will come watch them next time they are here in Manchester. These guys are talented musicians and I urge everyone to come see them live."
