Its been a while since we heard from Morlack &ndash; but this time he has teamed with Australian beat-master Bezwun for a 4 tracker filled with maximum dancefloor energy.The Double Trouble EP has been a little over a year under way, but I think you will agree with us that this was well worth the wait.The freaky funky vibes and big basslines and even bigger beats is what dominates all 4 tracks on this EP - from the low-slung grooves on Shine to the catchy house beats on Hand On Me.

In-between those we see some equally big grooves on the Mo Money jam that even brings in some classic breakbeats to go with the bouncy basslines. The 3rd cut slams on some progressive basslines and some proper funky Action!
The EP&rsquo;s is not about to go out without things getting real freaky on the Hands On Me track that brings back a classic groove and some sweet vocals.We might be in Double Trouble with this EP, but we are left wanted more from this dynamic duo. Morlack & Bezwun - Action

This is my ninth "music therapy" session and it returns to my house roots. It's upbeat, a little all over the place, and a lot of fun. For my first year and a half or so of DJing I didn't stray much from tech house, bass house, and similar subgenres. But recently I've taken a little break to explore different sounds. It just sort of naturally happened along the way... I'm constantly interested in expanding my horizons and mixing it up. I was surprised though to find myself a little rusty at the mixing pace of house + streaming distractions during this set. I couldn't hang out on a vibey 8 or 16 bar loop while responding to a comment in chat too often without derailing the mix. It was a good reminder and learning experience! Even though I felt off my game technically, we just leaned into the vibes and had fun going down memory lane/getting back to that classic house feeling. My favorite part of the mix is the second half - powerful, uplifting vocals and I'm a little more in the groove.

My goal with these sessions is to upload the mix regardless of imperfections. There may be some transitions or track selections that could have been better - but it’s live, improvised, and I hope to get way more mixes uploaded for you all this way. It’s helping me fight against my perfectionism, play around with my music library, focus on the fun, and push myself with my skills instead of playing it really safe to ensure a clean mix.
