One fateful night, Nigel "Nebula" Crane, the band's keyboardist and self-proclaimed interstellar sage, experienced a vivid dream of a distant planet called Pulsarix. In this dream, he played a grand piano under the cosmic sky, weaving the sounds of the galaxy into a complex and haunting melody. The next day, he woke up determined to bring this celestial vision to life.

Nigel spent weeks composing "Exoplanet Etude on Pulsarix," a piece that seamlessly blended the ethereal sounds of the cosmos with intricate classical piano techniques. The composition was unlike anything the band had ever done before, with its dynamic shifts and technical flourishes showcasing Nigel's talent.

However, not everyone in the band was thrilled with the new direction. Trevor "Starlord" Spence, the band's guitarist and cosmic riff master, was particularly vocal about his disdain for the piece. "It's too classical and show-offy," he grumbled during one heated rehearsal. "Our fans want epic space rock, not some fancy piano solo."
