We're very excited to welcome Edinburgh-based collective, What Goes Up as our third guests of the series. 

Aiming to provide promotional platform for up-and-coming talents in underground dance music, the four man collective, consiting of Ampersand, 1BP, KOVAL and LOFTY, have rapidly gained traction through their stellar mix series and several track premieres. Post- Covid, they are planning to expand What Goes Up into their own club night and record label.

The lads have teamed up to give us a tight 90 minutes of tough, high-energy house. Club ready stuff and a taste of what they will be bringing to their own night in the near future.

This month we welcome RISE Member Lewis Sands to our Residents Mix Series for RISE003 - This funky italo style mix is inspired by the likes of Running Back Recordings and artists such as Krystal Klear and Tiger and Woods!

Lewis is a Glasgow based DJ & Producer hailing from Cumbernauld, Scotland. He has played in various bars and places throughout the scene. Holding a residency at Nicos Cafe Bar for Stevie Green's Greenhouse Disco monthly night and a weekly residency at BOCCA in Coatbridge - Lewis has joined forces with Gerry Kearns, Kane Kirkpatrick & Ryan Kane to create new brand and collective ANIMATE which will be supplying the soundtrack of clubber's journey in various venues throughout Scotland in the very near future.

Earning her stripes with a residency at Newcastle club night ‘ILL Behaviour’, she’s now firmly established with her productions being backed by industry heavyweights such as HAAi and Patrick Topping. A distinct love for a driving bassline and synth-heavy compositions has seen Meg’s profile grow significantly in 2020 with a barrage of huge, dancefloor-ready hits for the likes of Zone Focus, Clipp.Art, &Friends, Trick, and Needwant, home to her latest EP ‘Melbourne’.
