Rees landed on Bordello A Parigi with a bang. His “Three Eyes” track left dancefloors slippy and listeners wanting more. Thankfully, the Middlesborough musician only too glad to comply. Dream Wave collects three tracks that are emblematic of Rees’ enviable ability. A serial cross pollinator, genre lines are blurred before being rewritten. “A Dream Wave” melts rich basslines and muscled percussion with a daringly upbeat counter melody. Kick drums usher in “The New Beat”. Flourishes float above the thump before Rees lets loose. Acid barbs, rave shouts and Eastern echoes coalesce in this unique work. Keeping bodies moving until the very end, Rees delivers “Electric Body”. Guitar strings and incising snares collide with a hypnotic synthline that adopts elements of synth pop and full bodied techno. A record that perfectly illustrates the versatility of this style shifting artist.

Ryan Clover is one of a number of fresh faces emerging from the New York Techno scene – based in Brooklyn he releases music which is destined for rowdy dancefloors and is the founder of HOMAGE.

In the past few years he has released material on the likes of ARTS, Kneaded Pains, fabric and Fantastic Voyage. His latest EP is titled ‘My Light, My World’ EP and was released via Eris Drew’s new label, Ecstatic Editions.

His sound draws upon the origins of Techno, with deep melodic pads, fast intricate percussion and a deep rooted groove within which its very easy to get lost.

At times its euphoric and emotional, at others it’s heady and dark.

This mix showcases his versatile, driven approach to the dancefloor and holds no punches with a hard hitting energy straight from the off.

Marlon first came to our attention when we were setting up our party with Lena Willikens last March where he took a keen interest in the Neuron speakers and was obviously fascinated by hi spec electronics and digging deep. Having been a regular to our parties since then he's displayed his sheer enthusiasm for techno, electro, garage, breaks and everything that we like at On Rotation, with a trademark psychedelic twist.
