In a utopian lysergic world, music is what unites every soul.

Today we have the honor to release a prolongation of our “Make ___ Great Again” series with a brand new one revolving around Dream House. Close to Italo Disco, Dream House is a sub-genre of House and Trance music that appeared at the second half of the 90’s in Europe, with labels such as Dance Floor Corporation (DFC) or even ZYX Records.  

We’ve asked some of the best in the games to create a very diversified pallet of sub-sub-genres.  Alpine DJ with a fusion of Italo & Dream House, Mario Moretti with a flying club anthem, Tre Turner’s first official release with a more EBM approach filled with FM percussions, DJ Gear with a Deep Housy take, DJBoeing on a similar genre but with sunshine infused melodies and a catchy riff, Manuel Darquart with a Balearic downtempo acid grasping groove, Romain FX with a fast-paced mellow piano house jam, Val-Air to turn down the mood with a break-beat balearic tune and last but not least, Mangabey closing the compilation with a analog-tape & raw hip-hop infused house track.

PREMIERE⚡️Mario Moretti - Dreams Unfold [Fauve Records]

After a stint of regarded releases on Public Possession DJ City returns to Cocktail demote Music with Giuda Iscariota. The title might evoke images of the eternal betrayal but DJ City seems fully devoted to his crowd. Fueled by the distant memory of his regular sets at Cocktail, City touches on an array of moods and styles keeping his foot on the pedal. Giuda Iscariota emulates the selection choices of DJ City during his many sets at the party with a no-nonsense focus on dance floor drivers while Nattens Tysta Timmar slathers on the queer vibe by sounding like a lost Pet Shop Boys deep cut. On the flip Sophies Theme picks up the pace again with acid-laden house grooves and Archeoicae's head down hands up arp driven frenzy.

🩸 Hidden in the depths of Dracula's Transylvanian castle lay a sinister secret: a collection of rare vinyl records untouched by human hands for centuries. Dracula, the feared vampire lord, had amassed these records that mirrored his sinister persona. As an intrepid explorer dared to unveil the cursed treasure, eerie echoes filled the air. The vinyl's grooves spun, and a haunting symphony of classical and electronic compositions revealed Dracula's essence—a tale of dark desires and eternal melancholy. 

⚰️ Each record unearthed another chapter of the Count's tragic history. The castle came alive with spectral vitality, a chilling reminder that some secrets are best left untouched, even when hidden in the dark recesses of a vampire's vinyl collection.

Baile De Salsa Lenta (YPS & RFX Edit)

Powder is an up-and-coming producer from Tokyo who had put out only a couple of releases on Born Free and ESP Institute when Resident Advisor featured her on the monthly series “Breaking Through” this past August.
Inspired by her first visit to Cocktail d’Amore in 2015, she was so enthralled by the atmosphere, she started working on an EP for the label – capturing her experiences from the party.
The way Powder interprets sound is extremely personal and unique. 
The opener “Hip” has a driving sensual groove with hints of acid, seasoned with a good amount of loons and a mysterious foggy melody while “Heart” sounds like an italo disco aural translation of a shojo manga script for a “fun in the sun” tinged story.
On the flip side a slowmo industrial-meets-rainforest groove characterizes “Hole” followed by “Hair” in which she blends many layers of rhythm patterns together.
