We have edits from the likes of Marcello Giordani. PREMIERE: Pascal Viscardi - Oasis Trance

A little while ago we premiered a track by The Vendetta Suite - a dubbed out drunken affair called 'Warehouse Rock'. It's a track which since went on to delight in some of our own dj sets and seemed to work well regardless of the moment. 

Now however, it's been blasted into a new territory with a reimagining by Timmy Stewart who has worked his magic to warp the original into some sort of mutated balearic come house destroyer. 

This is a track destined for the sun kissed beaches of Ibiza and Croatia this summer, one which will accompany many a sunrise and sunset. I'm not sure if Timmy Stewart is aware of Tiesto's similarly titled "Ten Seconds To Sunrise" version but we feel all sorts of similar ways about this track - don't worry, it's definitely a good thing.

For those not familiar with the history of dinosaurs, the giant reptiles were crazy for Balearic grooves. Those who managed to flee to outer space before the fateful mass extinction event claim that the big comet hit in the middle of a massive Jurassic luau. At that time, Ibiza-based duo Residentes Balearicos didn’t exist, but their music would certainly conquer the hearts and minds of the clade Dinosauria.

Their forthcoming “Mediterraneo” EP, soon available on the Spanish label Balearic Ensemble in digital and vinyl formats, is a “treasury of wonderful, eclectic dancing music of the highest Balearic order”, wrote Mikey Sibson in the PR text of the release that comes with not one, but two sunny & breezy interpretations of “Mojada” made with love by Das Komplex (SXDNS029): First, a remix; and second, a tropical and mojito-infused Pineapple Bonus Mix.

Premiered here, the remix brings the trippy and mesmerizing original to a more cosmic realm, kind of invoking the early days of Baldelli’s Astro-Funky/Afro-Freestyle with its (incredible amount of) percussive elements, vocal hooks, and distorted riffs. Pure bliss!

Inspired in no small part by his recent extended set at clubbing institution, fabric, Lightspeed EP showcases the various sides of Alex' studio output. Out 18th November, the three-tracker explores acid-led neon adventures on ‘Fantasy’ and channels Cowley-esque synth sleaze on ‘Harry's Freaking Out’, before closing out with Ed Banger influenced ‘Lightspeed’.
