As a gift for my God Mother, Mentor and Spiritual Guide, I recorded this book because she--as my first Music Teacher--gave me so much inspiration growing up. I truly would not have been able to brave life as a solo traveling Singer without her. A few decades later and I just wanted to do something for her.

Born and raised in the capitol city of America, Coco began singing and performing professionally in musical theater jobs as a pre-teen. After winning a chance to appear on “Showtime at The Apollo” tv show in New York City, she moved there and continued her career as an Executive Secretary by day and began a new side career as a Wedding Singer on the weekend. That lead to her first international performance in Avignon, France—a city not far from Nina Simone’s home. From there, she began 14 years of short contract bookings in Norway onboard a private cruise line and traveled to 14 other countries and 32 additional cities singing with a trio or Quintet. While working in Oslo, Coco was sought out by an award winning Swedish Music Producer who provided the music that was both soulful and Jazzy. Coco write her first two songs that were released by Homegrown Records back in 2014.
