Cocoa Divine is a talented vocalist and lyricist who has been making moves in the industry for some years. Born Tadeyo Divine Akitoye in Lagos Nigeria, she moved to the UK at 2. She started writing at the tender age of 6 and began rapping at 15. As an artist moving in the Hip Hop world she had opportunities to tour the east coast of America, and has specially performed for the likes of Russell Simmons and Kelly Rowland.

Leading the church choir helped to strengthen her vocals and confidence, and growing up in London surrounded with family meant Cocoa’s Nigerian roots were firmly instilled. Now fusing her love for both Hip Hop and Afrobeats she brings you a beautiful combination of sounds, lyrics and concepts.
