Hach ja, was soll ich sagen: Golden Gate ist einfach immer ehrlich, immer mit Soul, immer mit Fokus auf die Musik, immer mit "zu Hause Gefühl" und zwar auch für jemanden wie mich, der ich ja nicht in dem Sinne zum Laden gehöre. 
Ok, zugegeben: auch immer bisschen klebrig, aber hey: R a v e ist klebrig. Und das Golden Gate kommt mit Rave-Garantie und zwar kontinuierlich seit knapp 20 Jahren - das lässt sich schwer leugnen 😀

Und zum Mitschnitt: ich hatte für Ostern einiges an alten Hits rausgekramt, "Our Love Never Dies" von Adas Album auf Areal z.B. oder "Abusator" (Freak 'n Chic #07, gelbe Hülle). Schöne Zeitmaschine. Mit Plattenkratzern und allem drum und dran. Hab ich alles so gelassen. Ist echter so. Golden Gate halt.

After playing for more than 70 times at Hoppetosse Berlin, I managed for the first time to make a live recording of my set. It's from our beloved Betriebsfeier in the beginning of March 2019. I played 4 hours on Saturday evening from 8 to 12 PM. My mix is ​​a journey through different styles, this time a little faster than usual. There was no playlist or order. I play the tracks as they come to my mind during the set. 15 minutes went lost, maybe dropped into the water? My sets can be very different. Coco got his infusion in the nineties. Result: heavily techno addicted. Since then he's a dj and appears as Coco or Coco Berlin. For more than 2 decades he's celebrating and organising (in cooperation with Empro) his infamous 36-hour party "Betriebsfeier" at Hoppetosse (operated by CDV) in Berlin, which is known for its unique freedom, true Berlin spirit, excellent music and heavy partying. Coco regularly plays Berlin clubs like Sisyphos, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Kater Blau, Goldengate, Watergate and many more. Nowadays he also infects the Netherlands, Spain, Denmark, UK, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia with his charismatic and highly mental influenced mix of deep and darker Minimal, House, Techno and his touch of rare Wave or Synth. Coco is also one of the creators of the infamous "Rote Dichte Festival" and was one of the inventors of the former monthly event "Hummmpday" at Salon zur Wilden Renate.
