When The Dust Settles is about feeling lost and burnt out in a relationship after the 'honeymoon' period has ended. It describes the inner battle to keep trying, but knowing the truth that your flame has gone out, and you are left yearning for more.

In truth, I could not tell you exactly what this song is about, or what made me write it. Cruel Game came out almost on it's own, but I feel like it's about feeling trapped. This was the second song I wrote, and my style has changed since this song, but I still wanted to share it with the world!

This song is my first experiment with harmonies. I never intended to add harmonies to it, but I improvised them once I had recorded the lead vocals, and to be honest I am quite happy with the result!
