Cocoon Recordings No. 10010 is a mighty club tool and comes from the studios of Dana Ruh & André Galluzzi resp. of Agent!, Vito & Danito. Galluzzi and Ruh are celebrating their gusto for dark and long arrangements with quite a few references to Berlin's club culture and the Basic Channel catalogue. Hypnotically, kicking and breathing the vibe of those long Berlin nights, "Voyage" takes you on a trip into your inner self. Endless and energetic!
"Dopeman", produced by the trio Agent!, Vito & Danito is living the pure Chicago House spirit, with greetings from Sneak and iCube, and also DJ W!ld brought this sound back again to the dancefloors with his latest releases. It pumps and it kicks, and cut-off, filtered samples are finishing it all off and turn "Dopeman" into a veritable dancefloor bomb, that doesn't even stop at siren samples and 90's revival sounds. MF034 welcomes Italian born and Basel-based producer Mikhu to the MF Mix series.

The joy of experimenting can be heard in his sets, which are mixed with rhythmic techhouse and minimalistic Dub Techno and yet he runs his clear line.

In the studio the native Italian has no limits crafting his own sound which has become infectious leading to releases on labels such as Blind Vision Dubs, Inter, Lacuna Recordings & Mormorio Records.

Cocoon Recordings has been founded in the year 2000 as a part of the Cocoon Music Event GmbH. Sven Väth has initiated Cocoon Recordings in order to complete the Cocoon platform as a supporting tool for young artists in Electronic Music. The label philosophy is as simple as demanding: helping young producers and DJs to release their music without depending on Major Label structures. The releases can mainly be assigned to the genres Techno and House.

Cocoon Recordings as a label and Sven Väth as an artist stand for the use of vinyl as sound carrier, also in the future. Admittedly, the Digital Division of Cocoon Recordings has also been set up in 2008 and the numbers of downloads are indeed enjoyable. However, the label's focus is on vinyl, now and in the future. In order to complete the range of services that Cocoon Recordings offers, the publishing company Cocoon Publishing was founded in 2010.
