"Musique Pour Enfiler Des Perles" is the third EP by Poison Gauchiste, aka Eric Labbé, following "Musique Pour Faire Différentes Choses" and "Musique Pour Monter En Haut". It is the result of a slow maturation process, shaped by summer idleness and long winter evenings over the past two years. The EP features five compositions that, as always, blend quirky influences with distinctly personal oddities.

Caution: several of these tracks contain rhythms that might inspire dancing — though it’s unclear whether listeners will actually follow through, given the spells of languor and melancholy that occasionally drift onto the dancefloor...

Laurent Garnier's COD3 QR presents a French federation of top techno with new tracks from Unspent, Manuel-M, Kmyle, Loloman and Humantronic for the next release this September.

For over a decade, Anthony Bertholon and Jérémy Garde have been leading numerous musical projects across Europe. Together, they form Unspent, a duo blending raw, cold and powerful techno with refined production, marked by subtle leads and remarkable sound precision. This bold direction earned them a place on COD3 QR; a milestone that affirms their artistic integrity and lasting relevance. They open the EP with the drum-led, hypnotic "Sea Theatre".

A discreet yet respected artist, Manuel-M has been working passionately behind his machines since 2008. True to his principles, he steers clear of passing trends, making music above all for himself. He maintains an old-school vision, marked by the pioneers of techno, while incorporating his style through contemporary sound design on renowned labels like Tronic, Brique Rouge and here on COD3 QR, with the bright and grooving "A Night in Charleroi".

Kmyle is synonymous with boundless audible exploration having etched a lasting mark in the realm of electronic music. He seamlessly blends magnetic techno, hypnotic rhythms and ethereal melodies, as displayed on "Drill". Other labels such as Soma, Mord and Skryptom have placed their unwavering trust in his musical prowess, and in 2020 he launched his own Kmyle Records.

Loloman is one of the leading French producers in the underground electronic music scene. He creates music without adhering to conventional rules, blending styles, synthesizing sounds and unveiling a unique and diverse musical world filled with strong emotions and a groove. Since 2019 he's released on prestigious labels like MB Elektroniks, Brique Rouge, Metrohm and (of course), COD3 QR. Here, he drops the story-telling "Rock Hit".

Humantronic is a long-standing figure in the international electronic underground. After co-founding the Neopren label and debuting with a #1 release on Juno, he spent several years in Berlin refining his distinctive, groove-driven techno. He later founded his own imprint, Manakacha and released on legendary labels such as Traum, KMS and Harthouse. Now back in southern France, he's been staying true to his passion for techno, with both consistency and integrity, that's evident on melodic closer, "Madspace".

Michael Mayer became obsessed with Erik Luebs, an American producer based in Osaka, after stumbling upon his independently released music on Bandcamp. Luebs’ talent for creating high-energy, minimalist acid techno with impeccable, futuristic sound design swiftly earned him a regular place in Mayer’s sets. It was only a matter of time before Luebs made his debut on Kompakt’s Speicher series with this highly versatile EP. ‘Riding the Blade’ opens the four-track EP, showcasing Luebs’ signature punchy psychedelia. ‘Scarlet Viscera’ features a sleek, minimal groove that is reminiscent of the genre’s heyday in the 2000s. ‘Transform Into Glass’ emanates blissful Detroit vibes, and the EP closes with a real bang: ‘Sucked Through Tube’ creates a frenzy on the dance floor without the need for a single kick drum. Michael Mayer, aka Mr. Lava Lava asked a bunch of his absolute favourite artists to have a go at some of the tracks from his recent album 'The Floor Is Lava'. First up is Barcelona's brightest flame, RAXON, who is melting 'Brainwave 2.0' into a stompin fun-filled primetime banger. Longtime collaborator DAVE DK is a masterful producer and remixer that appears regularly on Pampa and Kompakt. His take on 'The Solution' feels like a road trip to paradise and back. Montreal's PRIORI is one of the hottest names in showbiz right now. His ability to bridge genres and create pristine sound designs is fully on display in his remix for 'The Solution'. Last but not least, the legend that is SEBASTIAN MULLAERT took a moment off from his revered Circle Of Live jams to transform the albums deepest cut 'Ardor' into an extraordinary musical journey. Cocoon Recordings has been founded in the year 2000 as a part of the Cocoon Music Event GmbH. Sven Väth has initiated Cocoon Recordings in order to complete the Cocoon platform as a supporting tool for young artists in Electronic Music. The label philosophy is as simple as demanding: helping young producers and DJs to release their music without depending on Major Label structures. The releases can mainly be assigned to the genres Techno and House.

Cocoon Recordings as a label and Sven Väth as an artist stand for the use of vinyl as sound carrier, also in the future. Admittedly, the Digital Division of Cocoon Recordings has also been set up in 2008 and the numbers of downloads are indeed enjoyable. However, the label's focus is on vinyl, now and in the future. In order to complete the range of services that Cocoon Recordings offers, the publishing company Cocoon Publishing was founded in 2010.
