Built on hypnotic layers, it evolves into an atmospheric journey that blends joy, subtle ecstasy, and vibrant energy. In an age of musical hyperproduction, Remember Me is a reason alone to celebrate Cornucopia's return. Yet, it is only the beginning; the unexpected euphoria unfolds as the release progresses.

Somewhere back in the mists of time, most likely involving the odd papal decree, some dodgy calculations about how long it takes the earth to do a trip round the sun, and a nerdy historian or two wanting to find a way to compartmentalise the eras they were documenting, the concept of decades and centuries entered the public consciousness.

What with folk across the ages always looking for an excuse to party, they became something to celebrate, both the longevity of the milestone attained, and the excitement about what was to follow.

In the notoriously fast-moving world of music, such longevity can be hard to find, especially in an era of short attention spans and soundbite culture. It thus only seems right and proper to hail Dave Seaman, Steve Parry and their Selador imprint for reaching its 200th release (the 200 actually encapsulates a whopping 796 tunes and mixes in total, fact fans).

To put that into some sort of context, that’s way more music than the two previous era-defining labels Dave was involved with, Stress in the 90s and Audio Therapy in the 00s, combined. The 12 years Steve has spent co-helming Selador eclipses the time he spent front and centre at the legendarily influential 3 Beat store. All this at a time when the music marketplace has never been more saturated or harder to navigate in the quest to gain visibility for music you believe in.

Steve and Dave don’t need to do this. Both well into their fourth decade in the acid house trenches, each possesses an impressive CV, and is not short of work. But nothing drives these two electronic music titans more than the search for new music, the buzz of hearing something special for the first time, and the hunger to help bring it into the world, nurture its development, and share it with as many like-minded souls as possible.
Selador has proved to be a significant player in terms of sourcing and developing new talent in the arena they dub “house, techno and all flavours in between”, as is shown across those 200 releases. It has also proved to be a trusty vehicle for Steve and Dave to release many of their own productions, the benchmark set by their peers on the label roster driving the duo to ever greater heights.

It is thus fitting that the 200th Release Project features 12 brand new and exclusive remixes courtesy of friends old and new, all of whom have reworked some of the bosses’ classic productions.

Spread across three thrilling 4 track EPs released throughout August 2025, this celebratory collection brings together an array of talent from around the world covering a multitude of genres within the Electronic Club Music realm.

In short, it’s what Selador has been doing from releases 1 to 199, with added birthday vim and vigour. Savour and enjoy.

BrokenHearted proudly presents the third installment of its acclaimed Antologia series. With Antologia III, the label continues its tradition of giving each artist and track the space to shine, highlighting the distinctive voices that define BrokenHearteds sound. This edition features label boss Eleven Of July, the rising Egyptian talent Kikkx, the returning Greek duo O-Band, and the Spanish duo 2Qimic. Since its inception, BrokenHearted has been a forward-thinking platform for techno and progressive house, and this third chapter cements its commitment to quality, innovation, and immersive electronic music journeys. The release opens with Eleven Of Julys Cuore Analogico (Analog Heart). Anchoring the compilation, the label boss delivers a high-energy, dance floor-ready track that showcases his more club-oriented side. Following his incredible debut on Steyoyoke with History, Eleven Of July layers hypnotic Moog textures, driving rhythms, and compelling vocal elements to create a track that is both a DJ essential and a progressive techno experience in its own right. With relentless energy and meticulous sound design, Cuore Analogico immediately sets the tone for the journey ahead. Next, Egyptian newcomer Kikkx makes his label debut with Luminary. A straightforward, no-compromise floor-filler, the track blends futuristic sound design with otherworldly vocals and massive sonic textures. Kikkx demonstrates remarkable production skill and vision, delivering a track that hits hard yet maintains elegance, a confident statement from a promising new artist bridging progressive and melodic house/techno. O-Band returns with Shades of Grey, guiding the compilation into deeper melodic techno territory. The Greek duo have a rich history with BrokenHearted, with their Mind Trap EP supported by Paul Van Dyk, Tjerk, Priya among many others. On this track, O-Band balances delicate melodic motifs with driving rhythms, weaving elegance and potency into a refined, sophisticated journey. Shades of Grey demonstrates the duos ability to craft music that resonates both on the dance floor and in personal listening moments. Closing the release is Spains 2Qimic with Lost and Found. Known to the label for their Empusa EP, which received support from Joris Voorn, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Nihil Young, Paul Van Dyk, Lonya, Paco Osuna, 2Qimic deliver a dramatic, emotive track featuring an extraordinary cinematic vocal. With melancholic melodies and dynamic progression, Lost and Found combines energy and emotion, capable of moving dance floors and listeners alike. Cocoon Recordings has been founded in the year 2000 as a part of the Cocoon Music Event GmbH. Sven Väth has initiated Cocoon Recordings in order to complete the Cocoon platform as a supporting tool for young artists in Electronic Music. The label philosophy is as simple as demanding: helping young producers and DJs to release their music without depending on Major Label structures. The releases can mainly be assigned to the genres Techno and House.

Cocoon Recordings as a label and Sven Väth as an artist stand for the use of vinyl as sound carrier, also in the future. Admittedly, the Digital Division of Cocoon Recordings has also been set up in 2008 and the numbers of downloads are indeed enjoyable. However, the label's focus is on vinyl, now and in the future. In order to complete the range of services that Cocoon Recordings offers, the publishing company Cocoon Publishing was founded in 2010.
