Everything this Montreal-based artist has touched has turned to gold. His reworking of Mayer’s The Solution is certainly no exception. A quarter into the century, Swedish producer-DJ-song writer Johan Blende has found his passion for making music again. With a record out last year on Sweden label Studio Barnhus, forthcoming releases on some of Europe’s leading electronic music record labels and more material in the bag than ever before, 2025 is oﬀ to a bright start. During the 2010s he was enjoying success releasing records mainly on Belgian disco label Eskimo Recordings collaborating with singers Mattie Safer, Gustaph, Kelli-Leigh,

Mickael Karkousse & Rebecca Scheja, along with remixing a variety of acts such as Lana Del Rey, Ms Dynamite & DJ Fresh, Korn, Skrillex, Goose and Klaxons, producing for bands like Fenech Soler & Le Galaxie and playing records in nightclubs across Europe, the US and Asia. To follow, a long overdue break was needed in order to explore things

outside music further and to try and get his inspiration back, a break which is now coming to an end.

Born in Stockholm he currently resides in warmer climates down south in Athens, Greece. The long love for all things disco is still there to be heard but the new material is also expanding on his more eclectic & electronic music roots whilst also slowly getting back into his first love in music craftsmanship that dates back all the way to the mid ‘90s

- DJ-ing.

Captain Mustache is a French music producer and DJ from Paris.

Since 2020, he has released music on some of the most respected labels in the electronic scene: Kompakt, Mobilee, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, and an album on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with consistent support from top DJ's around the world.

As a true electronic music lover, he has collaborated with some electro icons (Dave Clarke, Arnaud Rebotini, Chicks on Speed, The Advent, Keith Tucker from AUX88...), adding an extra vocal dimension to his music.

In 2023 he reached a career milestone with a full album called "The Super Album" on the legendary label KOMPAKT Records, with the privilege to join the short list of artists having signed an LP on this label, such as Kölsch, Agents Of Time or WhoMadeWho.

In 2025 he's coming with a new album called "LUZ" on beloved Berlin's label MOBILEE, a new achievement for him as an artist and a special step in his career.

He is now widely recognized for several standout tracks:

The Amygdala is a central structure of the limbic system. It evaluates sensory inputs for emotional significance and potential threats, triggering neural pathways that generate emotional responses and embed as lasting memories.

Simultaneously, it initiates physical responses such as heartbeat, breathing, goosebumps, and the release of dopamine and serotonin. Within musical experience, the amygdala allows us to sense the emotional undertones of others intuitively, even before the mind can interpret them. This process is known as affective empathy.

Cocoon Recordings has been founded in the year 2000 as a part of the Cocoon Music Event GmbH. Sven Väth has initiated Cocoon Recordings in order to complete the Cocoon platform as a supporting tool for young artists in Electronic Music. The label philosophy is as simple as demanding: helping young producers and DJs to release their music without depending on Major Label structures. The releases can mainly be assigned to the genres Techno and House.

Cocoon Recordings as a label and Sven Väth as an artist stand for the use of vinyl as sound carrier, also in the future. Admittedly, the Digital Division of Cocoon Recordings has also been set up in 2008 and the numbers of downloads are indeed enjoyable. However, the label's focus is on vinyl, now and in the future. In order to complete the range of services that Cocoon Recordings offers, the publishing company Cocoon Publishing was founded in 2010.
