I had an earlier version of this, and I was listening to it and I actually didn't like some parts. Seeing as I only the trial version of FL Studio, I HAD TO REDO LIKE THE WHOLE THING but I was so determined to make the piece how I intended it to be, so hopefully this is like enough to get on

the channel. That's my current goal rn and in this past week, I've been super inspired, and I've had a lot of advice from others, so I want to make good music not only for me, but for everyone that has taken time to assist me and help be my harness as I climb the mountain that is my dreams.

I was really unhappy with the results in this (which will be explained below), but a group of friends who really liked it convinced me to at least post it, so I could receive input from other content creators, and see if other people enjoyed it as much as they did. Huge thanks to those friends <3 they've been supporting me somewhat.
But anyways, I didn't really rearrange the piece as much as I did with 中点 18293 (check that out if you haven't), I got super frustrated with sidechaining and gave up with it for this piece (I tried for an hour and a half and wasn't getting results I liked) which basically means I didn't add any drums and its only the beat already recorded with the sample (You Need Me by Noriki), I also had major writer's block and couldn't think of much I wanted to add/rearrange so a lot of it is sorta random/cliche and isn't done well.
I definitely want to look back at this sample, it's a great piece, but it probably just wasn't a good time for me. Expect MUCH better than this in the future [funk]. <---- Bad Pun

Tsundere 感情 Reveal

K here comes another track.

This spent me a bit longer than usual, as i was experimenting with sidechaining again. I think i finally understand what to do, but I'm lazy I guess. Sample is Hatsu Koi by Toshiki Kadomatsu for those who want to know.
I sorta got out of my writer's block (which was kinda also a bundle of bad vibes, sad ik), but I'm still not very good at this whole FF thing so my best still isn't all the great, but I'm definitely more confident in this piece than my previous. I kinda had a stacked up kind of thing, where every tiny little thing that's bothering me has suddenly showed up at my door in one giant heavy package. I spoke to a lot of people, and though the problems aren't gone, I'm feeling better than ever. THANK GOD FOR FUTURE FUNK! Nevertheless I hope you enjoy and thanks for going through this entire fricken essay that is my song description. Expect sidechaining in the near future.

rainy 感想

I've sampled this song before, but I really wanted to check my improvement + also I didn't feel like I did the sample justice the last time. Sample is Step into the Light by Toshiki Kadomatsu. Took me only 3 hours to sample and mix, either I'm improving, or I did nothing idk I'm not a master at this yet. But look, I finally sidechained a future funk song (can I get a banzai chat spam) like seriously the whole reason I had problems with figuring it out was for the longest time I thought you were compressing the kick, and not like everything else, but I digress.
I'd like to sincerely thank all of you for helping me reach 1000 plays on 中点 18293. I had some pretty awesome people give me great advice when I was first starting, and a few of them even reposted it. It's amazing I'm still getting attention on this song (even if it's the only one getting plays.....), and I hope I can get just a small percentage of those people to view my other content, as I feel I've greatly improved (I hope). I hope to be making something at least every 2 weeks, practice makes perfect right?

Don't Let Go

I made this in an hour and a half, cutting samples, adding a beat, adjusting the volume on everything, etc. It's sorta simple, cuz there's not much to sample in the song, maybe I could've recorded a guitar solo or something, but idk. Sample is Baby I'm Yours by Breakbot. I'll probably look back at this there's actually a lot I'm not too happy with but that'll take a full redo.

Searching for Love

Gah I said I was gonna do a biweekly uploading schedule, but I've been super busy with exams, school play, etc. etc. I didnt think I'd get time in for the next few weeks, but I managed to get some in today and made this.
Sample is Guilty Night, Guilty Kiss by Guilty Kiss, this took me like 3 hours to make, and I'm super tired. Don't expect anything else until after at least May 12th, though if I find the time, you may see something pop up. Hope you can enjoy this until then.

I haven't posted in a while, rip.
Been dealing with caffeine withdrawals so I haven't felt too well this week. Felt like making a LoFi song so my friends could use it in a goodnight AMV. Took only an hour so idk. I didn't really sample hunt this, a lot of people just use this song for lofi.
I can't thank you all enough, all of my soundcloud supporters, and instagram followers, and newgrounds followers, you all are awesome. I have a different fanbase on every platform but you guys are always supporting me and giving your time to hear me out. what the war took away

Gosh i guess my past week has largely been trying to quit caffeine and dealing with the withdrawal. It sounds dumb I know, but it's a real thing, and it sucks. I'm doing slightly better, I was able to go a day longer without having a drink and going into withdrawal, but I had to have one today, and my record high is only 4 days...
So drink to forget should be something an alcoholic does but I always feel pretty shitty when I drink so idk. I used the same sample again, it's a different part, and I even threw in some vocals from a show lol.
I'm having fun with this, so I guess expect more.

First time I sampled as I went, it was fun i guess, well at least it was a lot faster than how i'd normally do it. Took me an hour and a half to transpose, sample hunt, and mix altogether.

The piano is actually not sampled, rather a VSTI of a baby grand and an edited version of Churchill's "Someday My Prince Will Come". I only used a portion of the original so I could loop it, I wrote my own bassline, and I recomposed it a bit so it would fit in 4/4 time sig rather than 3/4 if you even know what that means idk.

I've been asked: "Hey Riko! Why hasn't there been any future funk?"
"Hey Coco, have you made a permanent switch to LoFi Hip Hop? I hope you come back to future funk soon..."
and even a
"Hey Kokona you should make more undertale 8bit mixes".

To answer everything as best I can:
-I make what feels right atm
-Sample Hunting is tedious
-I make what I have time for
-I haven't had the push to learn new techniques
-I'm still not even that familiar with FL Studio and mixing in general
-I have a life outside of this

Not trying to be rude, and I know I did say I was gonna try to make an upload schedule, but maybe that wont come until June. I've been a lot more busy than I expected I'd be, and I've gotten a lot less sleep because of it.

Still I'm trying, and it does make me happy that people are asking for more content from me, it's the greatest feeling in the world!

ok this is totally like my favorite track from persona 5 and like i couldnt help myself this took me like 2 hours to sample hunt and mix but a lot of the sounds are either sounds ive used or preinstalled sounds from FL Studio (and yeah i still am using the trial smh) ill probably try getting back into future funk soon now that summers coming up

BTW im just like curious who your best girl is cuz apparently there's a lot of disagreement between that (mines futaba)
