Deadline Records presents their third EP "Past Present" by Edvvin, a Warsaw based DJ and Producer who is heavily inspired by 90 ́s/00 ́s techno. His productions can be classified as a combination of tribal and hardgroove techno with lots of vocals, funky basslines and stabs. He is a fresh new face in the techno scene but his music gets already played by some famous DJs. So far, he released his music on labels such as Frenzy Recordings, Numerus Records and Rave Your soul. In addition to Edvvin's original tracks, this release also features three remixes by Isaiah, Levzon and William Arist.

Today’s premiere showcases one of Ireland’s most promising techno DJs and producers Aero as he releases on the acclaimed Dublin-based imprint Research Label, titled ‘Through The Cracks’. This sonically varied composition highlights Aero’s capability for creating consistently top-drawer dance music ideal for dance floors far and wide.

Aero, who has become one of the most prolific Irish techno artists in recent times by means of grit and determination, is carving out a career wrapped around the foundations of purist techno in standout fashion. He boasts an array of quality releases on Blackaxon, Fever Records, Concrete Berlin and more, now adding a full EP with Research to his already impressive discography. Gaining overwhelming support from artists right across the industry such as Freddy K, Amelie Lens, Slam, Richie Hawtin, Marcel Fengler, Blasha & Allatt and so on. Aero’s knack for shelling out consistent releases is infectious and clearly shines through here once again.

The Dubliner’s punishing style of techno has been haunting Irish dancefloors for over half a decade, as Aero’s deep knowledge of the genre sees him weave through hard-edged and funk-laced cuts from various time periods with ease. Much of this has a direct influence on his own productions that can be heard in his latest ‘Through The Cracks’ release and today’s premiere ‘Piss In The Wind’ in particular. Sublime driving techno accompanied by a high degree of production quality ticks all the boxes necessary for this track. A truly sensual tune that leaves no choice but to move your body.

IMOGEN announces the launch of her Wigs label with the inaugural release WIGS001. The EP is scheduled for 1st of December, boasting collaborations with DJ Stingray 313, Ben Pest, DJ Plant Texture and Jerome Hill.

WIGS001 EP takes off with a strong pairing, IMOGEN and DJ Stingray 313 join forces to mark their first production collaboration with ‘A New Earth‘. The single comes out on 9th of November and it is a hefty track blending electro and techno in an elegant and energetic fashion. ‘Synthesised Heart‘ teams up IMOGEN and a long time favourite Bristolian Ben Pest to offer a hypnotic mixture of grainy and noisy electro textures laced with acid basslines.

Second half of the release is where DJ Plant Texture and Jerome Hill come to play. ‘What Should I Do Next‘ from DJ Plant Texture proves there‘s no time to waste. Sophisticated percussion and chopped up broken vocals persisting throughout form a propelling dancefloor driving force. Lastly, Jerome Hill‘s ‘Hoods Up‘ loops a catchy sample, twisting the four to the floor approach into a layered acid jacking frenzy that builds up with vigour and patience.

Wigs kicked off as a project aimed to offer a new approach to party series and workshops with an emphasis on community, bringing like minded ravers together to build a platform for the next generation of artists and party goers. Wigs has hosted sold out parties and workshops across Europe bringing names such as Daria Kolosova, UR Trax, Salome, Aquarian and more. Wigs also hosts a radio residency on NTS where IMOGEN has played b2bs with Helena Hauff, Sunil Sharpe, Identified Patient and more. Wigs will be coming to New York for the first time this November to host a special in store to celebrate the release as well as an in store showcase in London at Phonica on December 1st to celebrate the release day.
