With a stunning new EP out on the excellent Knotweed Records, Argentinian duo Dying and Barakat have been making waves with their brand of contemporary rolling techno.

We caught up with the pair to discuss their passion for techno, dig deeper into their influences and talk about their plans for the coming year.

Trip Presents 017 - Dying & Barakat

Yasuyuki Uesugi a.k.a. AUTISTØNIC is a techno sorcerer. His mixes in the subterranean realms of the club unfold the mysteries and allure lurking beneath the urban surface. Like phantoms emerging from the darkness, his soundscapes beckon listeners into otherworldly realms, leaving deep imprints upon their souls. Crafted by AUTISTØNIC's hands, the music absorbs the essence of the underground, only to release it anew. His sound illuminates the club's nocturnal shadows, beckoning the audience into a hypnotic journey.

Drawing inspiration from 90s/00s techno and his roots in house music, Jack Jennings, a prominent figure within Dublin’s nightclub scene, has showcased his music on labels across Europe and beyond. With releases on TNR Media, Inertia Records, Complex Fractals, and Dublin imprints Delinquent Delivery and Syncopated Records to name a few.

His style can be summarised as an amalgamation of both genres to create a driving style of techno, heavily focused on groove and soul. Principles have remained the same, but Jack’s sound has evolved, with his most recent productions incorporating more nostalgic notes, intertwined with elements of new-school groove. 

Throughout his own music and the energy he strives to create in the booth and in his mixes, there has always been one common goal. A focus on the two facets of techno that he considers most important. Driving, fast paced rhythms with a hypnotic groove. A story that began within the walls of a Dublin nightclub has now spread further than the city he calls home, as Jack’s music occupies the sound system within many clubs all across the globe.

Amoureux invétéré et défenseur des musiques électroniques, Lö Pagani est un artiste du Sud de la France, issu de la scène électronique underground.

Influencé par la vague des années 90, dont il est originaire et maîtrisant totalement son sujet, il est l'auteur d'un son Techno pur sans concession, avec un sens inné du groove, dont lui seul, a le secret.
Inspiré par des artistes comme Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke ou encore
Jeff Mills...

Actif depuis de nombreuses années, il s'est illustré sur de nombreuses scènes, aux côtés d'artistes dont la réputation n'est plus a faire comme :

Chris Liebing, Jack de Marseille, Paul Nazca, Electric Rescue, Angy Core, Patrice Moore, Patrice Baumel, Antigone, Vitalic, Scan X, Alan Oldham ...

Il a été invité a plusieurs reprises pour jouer au Glazart pour After O'Clock. Très actif depuis l'ouverture du District Club a Avignon en 2019, il a pu accueillir a ses côtes :
Manu le malin, I Hate Model, Popof, Oxia, Pan Pot and more.

En 2023, il joue pour l'After officiel des 25 ans de la Techno Parade avec Familly Picnic.
Il a également anime des masterclass vinyles au Sound Village du Yeah Festival et a officié en tant que résident sur Radio FG dans l'emission Panoramaxx, pendant plus d'un an.

Lö Pagani est également producteur. Il a signé sur des labels comme Maetta où il a fait une coproduction remarquée avec FL!M également sur le label qubiq avec ses deux sorties : soleil vert et Atmos.il a été remixé par de nombreux artistes notamment Gregor Size, mais aussi sur Safir Records, ou encore Pimp's tit Records.

Il intègre DONATE Music en janvier 2018 et il est également co-fondateur des Pimousses Party, Serial Ravers...

Mais il est surtout connu pour son engagement dans de nombreuses causes.
