We’re thrilled to welcome Manzo Edits on our label’s cable mix series, dedicated to record labels and their owners. The new episode is curated by the Manzo Edits, a vinyl-only imprint started by Black Pomade in 2023, focused on cheeky, club-ready reworks that pack punch and groove without overcomplicating things. Each release features a tight selection of dubby edits, often rooted in obscure disco, Italian oddities, and sample-heavy funk cuts. While the label has deep roots in Italy and Portugal, support from DJs and collectors has been strong in many other places, including Japan and the UK. Manzo is fun, is raw, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it always delivers on the floor.

Since 2024, Flashbaxx has been performing again as an electronic 
live act, showcasing his unique mash-ups of disco and house classics. His high-energy performances have already taken him to legendary clubs like the KitKat Club in Berlin. In June 2025 selected tracks from his live set will be released as “Gazelle” EP on the newly founded label Groovers Trax (Leipzig), fulfilling his longheld dream of creating an uncompromising house record with a disco twist. 

From 2016 to 2025, Stenger was part of the podcast Proseccolaune, where he further honed his comedic talent. Today, this is reflected in his own comedy and music content on social media, striking a balance between accessible entertainment and subcultural authenticity—earning him a steadily growing fanbase. 
Daniel Stenger lives in Aschaffenburg (DE), works in his studio where he produces music, podcasts, content and musical projects for the advertising industry.

Feels Real Good (Short Version)

Our latest compilation features seven artists: Mirko Loko, Fitzherbert, Works Of Intent, LEVOS, Hilit Kolet, Monfort, and Marco Bailey.

Mirko Loko, a prominent Swiss talent, known for his work as resident DJ at Couleur 3 and Loft Electroclub, and artistic director of Polaris festival, contributes "Mind Your Step." His releases include those on COD3 QR (under the alias Bel Air Ltd.), Planet E, Border Community, Cocoon, and Visionquest.

Fitzherbert, a producer and DJ, began his musical journey at age 9. After gaining attention as part of the duo Lakechild, he brings his solo sound, blending disco, funk, house, and techno. His previously self-released "Short Trip to Space" is now featured on COD3 QR.

Works Of Intent, a UK-based mix-engineer-designer-essayist and activist, offers productions rooted in the UK underground with techno and pop influences. A master of live edits and four-deck wizardry, he is also project manager of DAYTIMERS and a designer and mix engineer. His track on the compilation is "Erase It."

LEVOS, a rising Australian talent from Sydney, is known for his record label and party series CG Discs, and explosive DJ sets. He also pushes the Sydney dance scene with Jazz Doof parties and performs live as Flux State. He brings a D&B touch with "Hood Oos" to COD3 QR.

London-based DJ and producer Hilit Kolet, a classically trained musician and veteran of Black Market Records, delivers high-octane DJ sets and sharp productions. Her track "Sunbed Tripper" features the spoken words of Juliet Mendoza.

Monfort, the new alias of Spanish producer and DJ Albert Salvatierra, makes his COD3 QR debut with "La Musique." His sound emphasizes strength and precision, crafted for both dance floors and attentive listening, with this track showcasing a more introspective approach.

Marco Bailey, a Belgian techno luminary with over three decades in the industry, contributes "Sweet Irony" to close the compilation. A regular on COD3 QR, his tracks have also appeared on Intec, Bedrock, and Cocoon.

Mathias Kaden's ‘Freedom’ on Rekids receives the remix treatment 1st August 2025, with a new version from Kaden, as well as a dub mix from Radio Slave. Initially released as part of his 2024 ‘Circulate’ EP on the label, the release won support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, TSHA, and Dam Swindle.

Rooted in soul but geared for the dancefloor, Mathias Kaden’s uptempo rework of ‘Freedom’ toughens the original’s groove while allowing its jazz and dub-inflected stabs, strings, and keys to shine through, all while stripping back the track’s memorable spoken-word sample. Meanwhile, Radio Slave’s eleven-minute dub mix is a hypnotic, slow-burning and dreamlike track, built on spacious layering and a hauntingly re-emergent vocal. A full instrumental completes the package, with Kaden and Radio Slave joining previous ‘Freedom’ remixer William Kiss in oﬀering three distinctive takes on the track.
