From the depths of music’s murkiest waters, AUDIO is back and bigger than ever. Pumping those bass heavy dumbbells and effortlessly reigning over the realm he helped to shape, prepare yourself for a musical excursion like no other.
The union between RAM and AUDIO sent reverberations throughout the community. Having already thrown hard-hitting punches with his first release on the imprint, it’s now time for another full-frontal assault. 
The opening credits roll out like a musical blockbuster, with those first few jabs sending you reeling in suspense. ‘Nil By Mouth’ is snappy, aggressive and builds tentatively, with an imposing drop which leaves a lasting impact. There’s an endless stream of hard-hitting bass notes, cutting deeper and deeper into the mix until its intimidating composition is exposed. The structure is then diced up by an elevating drum pattern, leading you into meticulously crafted anarchy. AUDIO smashes you head first through a glass prototype, leaving you to bear the brunt of his production. 
Next up, we’re introduced to the mechanical drill of ‘Ultron’. The first few booms pushes the intro forward at an alarming pace, accelerating as the gears are audibly shifted. Measured, yet proving to be unstoppable and flying forward aboard one pounding rhythm, expect no less from the guy who brought you ‘Heads Up’ and ‘Stampede’. Ending with a final snap of breakbeat, you’re left to bask in a record that detonates with outstanding power. 
Following on from these dance floor destroyers, is aptly named ‘Break It’.  On first listen, stay away from anything fragile. Winding up with the same tell-tale aggressiveness which his production style is renowned for, he manoeuvres last minute into unfamiliar territories.  Bouncing between bars with a war-cry like vocal sample, AUDIO pulls you in and keeps you there… another shining example of AUDIO’s ability to produce game changing, contemporary drum and bass. 
Wrapping up this sonic assault is ‘Gotham’. As dark and brooding as the famed city itself, find yourself lead through a stepping, precise construction of beats. Unforgiving, weighty pads guide a steppy riddim into undiluted madness. This completely envelops the musical environment and it’s difficult not to blown away by the conundrum of quick witted instrumentation that snap, crack and smack with every break. 
Featuring next level cuts from a man who stands at the genre’s forefront, it’s time to let the music talk. And it’ll stand as one of the dnb population’s most lasting conversation for a while.

From the darkest recesses of the drum & bass world, this LP sampler from Audio signifies the last step towards his debut LP on Ram Records. Already receiving support from the scene’s heaviest, including key influencers Noisia and Beats1 mogul Zane Lowe, this next release is the predecessor for an album set to make history.

First up, ‘Overdose’ sees Audio return to his brutish, rolling bassline slashed with gritty drum loops and underpinned by quaking subs. The master of dropping ominous samples into the mix, it propels deep into a murky conundrum of sound. Steroid driven kicks bloat out the already weighty composition, sliced with distorted, elevating beat patterns and bass to create an angry, sneering and unapologetic opener. This is Audio once again pushing through like a freight train… Unstoppable.  

Next up is the Mefjus rework of Audio’s signature Ram release ‘Ulton’. His production standards were already credited at this year’s Drum & Bass Arena Awards; it’s not surprise that Audio enlisted an artist who’s received recognition for spreading his signature sound across dance floors worldwide. Mefjus’ moulds the original around the unfaltering guns of his peddled drums and wavering bassline. Flicking the switch midway, you’re thrown head first into the techy soundscape the producer reigns over.

So once more we return to the cold, nefarious sounds of Audio a final time before his album is dropped on the Ram imprint. The dial is currently turned to full throttle and it’s easy to see why the anticipation has only been growing with the release of each single.

An arsenal of sonic weaponry residing within the lines of his palms, drawn forth through the ancient forms manifested by long-dead masters. His swift movement amongst the shuffling army is efficient - acute strikes snap limbs, raw concentrated power crushes bone, low-frequency techniques leaving little behind from the weight of brutal molecular disruption. MIZO returns to NEUROPUNK RECORDINGS with the ROCKFALL EP, which bears forth five of the producer's sinister sonics unto eagerly awaiting ears. Following the producer’s recent efforts including his Icy Wyrm EP on Eatbrain and his previous single Hellhound//Mechanical paw on NEUROPUNK, ROCKFALL sees MIZO deliver another set of sonics in the style for which he has become notorious, blending unrestrained aggression and uniquely tinged synth tonalities across the EP’s five tracks.

ESHELON opens the EP from on high, driving its way towards a sonic precipice on the back of a syncopated rhythm that rebounds and resounds within a set of deviously dissonant synth stabs. From this precipice then launches the frenetic percussion of ROCKFALL, within which tumbles an electric arpeggio that only amplifies the track’s already blinding rhythmic speed. BAD DREAMS next lashes out with the nightmarish timbre of its slithering basslines, which wind their way through the track’s mysterious atmosphere and pause only briefly as they prepare to strike a second time. PATHOGEN follows this display by warping its own basses into monstrously mutated forms, and is followed by ROLL DEEP featuring MC KRYPTOMEDIC, who’s minimalistic lyrical rhythms provide a funk fueled closing for the EP’s final track.

With the ROCKFALL EP MIZO places his production talents on clear display as he imbues the five tracks within with an inimitable energy that finds a fitting home on NEUROPUNK RECORDINGS.
