Another beautiful moment looped between the past, present and future at The Block Tel Aviv reminding me once again that the foundation of our scene, the club dance floor, should not be forgotten.  The night was a perfect synchronous moment between the audience and I, immersed together in warm frequencies emanating from a sound system impeccably curated by the clubs owner.  Nights like this, where we all disappear into the darkness together are what bought me to the dance floor in the first place. Here's four hours of pure modern Techno music, from my mind to yours!

Our cozy Island, nestled deep in a valley, surrounded by river and waterfalls and covered by green grass is hosting The Swamp stage. Hottest and most memorable part of the festival's location is home to Dark Progressive, Psy Bass, Dub, Breaks, Techno, Glitch and other various styles of music. With PSYCHEDELIC as only common denominator and DANCE as the main philosophy behind it.

When we started building Mo:Dem accordingly to our vision of festival with three musical stages, the role of The Swamp was a crucial one. Basic idea was to generate counterbalance to the faster and heavier musical styles presented at The Hive. Creating 'alternative stage' wasn’t our intention. Rather we imagined The Swamp as the extension of same psychedelic dance experience. Possibility to select between artists coming from a wide spectrum of psychedelic music gave us an opportunity to succeed in our plan. As Swamp literally and figuratively means diversity and variety, this was set as the main guideline for this stage in the future.

We are happy that we can share with you some sounds from 2017. edition. This time we are presenting you Knobs.

Grounded Podcast number 104 welcomes previously featured artist Hadone, a formidable act with 3 years of constant production and a wicked sense for DJing. 

Combining a blend of 90’s techno and fresh new sounds for a no holds barred set made up of a mixture of vinyl and digital but he’s also known for his fast live set without compromise.

Starting out playing in France, his career has seen him progress to other destinations throughout Europe with 2018 bringing him strong forthcoming releases on labels such as Code Is Law.

Ismcast Presents 044 - Hadone

This time we have a mix from our newest addition to our roster !
Antonina Karakostova, is a Bulgarian DJ and producer who had little interest in dance music or clubbing until she moved to Copenhagen back in 2014. Everything changed when a friend took her to her first rave in the city, in an old industrial building-turned-art studio. Several more raves and a few months later Karakostova by chance met Rune Bagge and a jokey request for DJing lessons led to him becoming her DJing mentor. Karakostova now regularly plays vinyl-only fast techno DJ sets with a focus on industrial and EBM influences (she claims she never got over her goth phase), mixed in with lush pads and acid basslines. She is also developing her sound as a producer, all under the name Vixen.

Ismcast Presents: Lucinee (PAL/NACKT/Lucid/Snork Enterprises)

Next in line for our Ismcast series is PAL resident Lucinee from Hamburg!
The Techno DJ and Producer gained during the past few years quiet a name for herself in Hamburg and other cities, performing in clubs like About Blank (Berlin), IfZ (Leipzig), KB18 (Copenhagen). 
She organizes »Lucid«, a party series with a focus on raw & energetic Techno and a merging visual concept, supporting the local underground community. Her newest project of heart is NACKT, a Techno party at PAL, mixing freedom of sexual expression, body positivity, art, Techno and Ambient. 
Lucinee also started to focus on her own productions using only her analogue and digital hardware synthesizer setup to record tracks and has recently released her debut EP “Black Moon” (12”) on Snork Enterprises.
