Pim and Proper is a Rotterdam-based DJ and producer, that's rapidly making a name for himself. Whether it's through his energetic and fast-paced DJ-sets, or his monthly show at Operator Radio, when this man is in his element and working the decks, no-one is safe.

He seamlessly stitches together gritty electro, pounding breaks and euphoric rave, as well as anything else he’s feeling at the moment.

Sofya Gatos is a whirlwind of energy, ideas and optimism. After a long relationship with architecture she radically shifted focus on music, therefore stirring the culture of Moscow’s underground. Her Track ID pls! project is about the support and encouragement of the local scene by doing various multigenre events and streams from different locations, including abandoned buildings.

Track ID pls! is a project she organized a Quarantined online stream, watched more than 10k times; a winter online stream from a cold snowy Russian forest at -18 degrees celsius. 

By putting together cross-genre selections, she is striving to explore diverse sound, to find exceptional in something that, at first glance, seems alike.

Reuniting a tight circle of artists whose contributions have helped shape the label’s trajectory, the release offers an unrelenting sequence of pressure, mental twists, and textural collisions; a multifaceted snapshot of techno’s enduring capacity to evolve, disturb, and seduce.

The compilation resists uniformity. Instead, it thrives on contrast: tension versus release, density against spaciousness, rhythm in all its permutations. From high-energy metallic openers and dub-inflected body rollers, to disorienting, delay-heavy experiments and stripped-back percussive tools, each contribution reveals a unique grip on groove and detail. Some tracks move like engineered machines: sharp, robotic, and syncopated to surgical precision. Others embrace sensuality and unpredictability, exploring spatial motion, layered harmonic friction, and states of controlled chaos.

Each piece acts as a structural component in a larger sonic architecture, where tension is built, collapsed, and rebuilt. Friction becomes a form of choreography. Across the record, a shifting palette of emotional mechanisms takes form; granular and magnetic, haunting and quietly forceful, restrained, then disruptive.

More than a retrospective,  SK_eleven’s first compilation becomes a collective gesture toward techno’s unresolved possibilities:  its ability to hold contradiction, remain in flux, and mutate without conclusion.
