40 Thieves are back on Roam Recordings, teaming up with vocalist Alona to release their latest cosmic disco gem, 'Shake You Off'. Fans of the trio (Layne Fox, Corey Black, and Jay Williams) might recognize them from the dancefloor classic 'Don't Turn it Off (I Think I Like It)', their eclectic album 'The Sky is Yours', or their previous Roam hit 'Take Me I'm Yours'.

This new single delivers a dancefloor-ready track featuring Alona's vocals layered over lush electronic melodies.

The release also features two standout remixes from Roam Recordings alumni Shubostar and label boss Jason Peters. Shubostar kicks things off, maintaining the warm, inviting vibe while introducing a dash of Italo disco flair. Label founder Jason Peters takes a different approach, stripping down the original to create a deep, pulsating, heavy version. Rounding out the release are an instrumental and radio-friendly edit of the original track.

This project has strong San Francisco roots, and we couldn't be more excited to collaborate with our Bay Area family on this release. But beyond our personal ties, we truly believe this record is something special.

Code Indigo is one of those hard to catagorize progressive rock bands whose music and concept style albums cross genres and appeal to a wide range of audiences. With strong melodic compositions, an imaginative combination of keyboards, guitar, samples and rhythms plus a good helping of atmosphere and sublime "off the wall" moments, their music compares to that of a Blade Runner style soundtrack. A sort of 'electronic keyboard music meets guitar based instrumental rock with vocal textures, masses of samples, experimental, ambient and down tempo chill out influences' all part of the mix. Think 'Art of Noise, Enigma and instrumental Pink Floyd' or classic rock music for ex-rockers who have mellowed with age.

The band was founded in 1995 by David Wright and Robert Fox as a vehicle for their collaborative work and also featured Nik Smith on lead guitar and Vaughn Evans on synths. Pat Patterson replaced Nik Smith on guitar in 1997, but was himself replaced a year later by Andy Lobban. Vaughn Evans left the band in 1998, Robert Fox left in 2008.

The current line up is David Wright and Neil Fellowes on keyboards, Andy Lobban (lead guitar), Dave Massey (rhythm, seq and bass programming) and Nigel Turner-Heffer on keyboards, bass and rhythm guitar.
