Long time channel pals, "Who’s Susan" have kindly chucked a lovely DJ Windows XP jam our way from their brand new bi-polar-esque titled EP, "Sometimes I Feel Happy, Sometimes Sad" - I guess operating systems do have feelings after all. After making serious waves off the back of their last release on DJ Haus' imprint, E-Beamz; the Amsterdam duo's second offering demonstrates another, perhaps more considered facet to their production ability - yet retaining their trademarked raw stonk.

Lots of questions are still left to be answered, though. Who really is Susan? Maybe ‘it’ could have been me? At the end of it all though, who cares. Let your synapses turn around the infinite situations, with infinitesimal different angles round and round your brain- what’s gone is gone. Dust to dust.  Stare into the abyss, sink into your cocoon, let the bass drum thud in the back of your throat, the background synths wrap over you, crescendoing into the most alleviating rush. Pretty blissful stuff and certainly not just another jovial 'DJ' pseudonym.

Ocean Drive Radio is a 80s/90s themed platform from an alternate reality, lost somewhere between the frequencies of a dreamy house and a smooth- jazz radio station. Founded during the start of the pandemic and inspired by channels like EELF, Slav, Vapor Memory and Xerf Xpec, ODR aims to showcase these mood-invoking genres in the believe that, now more than ever, people will be either nostalgic for the carefree past, or longing for that utopian future which was promised with the arrival of mass-consumer technology. You can find weekly guest mixes on their Soundcloud and premieres on their YouTube in genres which have the tendency to sound familiar, but for whatever reason seem a tad different.
