Wattenscheid is the place where I was born in 1992. Even though the style is different to my other music, I like it pretty much and I tried to digest my past on this one. So it's a very personal track. Hope you like it.

Dunkle Wolken ziehen auf. Ein Grollen in der Ferne kündet das uns bevorstehende, Unheil an. Immer näher kommt es auf uns zu. Immer heller zucken lange, neongelbe Blitze am dunklen Himmel auf die Erde herab. Immer lauter werden die Donnerschläge und auf einmal ist es direkt über uns. 

Kein entkommen ist mehr möglich und Blitz & Donner hypnotisieren uns so sehr, dass wir nicht mehr tun können als einfach nur regungslos da zu stehen obwohl es in unserem Inneren wild brodelt. 

Ausgelöst wird dieses wilde, innerliche Toben und die faszinierende hypnotische Endzeitstimmung von unseren Freunden von GYRL*.

It's been nearly 5 years [july 2013] since my friend  https://soundcloud.com/arkadiusz-dmytrow recorded one of the very first mixes for the Seaside Trip: https://soundcloud.com/rolandsons-seasidetrip/seasidetrip-09-by-arkadiusz . in the meantime, a lot has changed and a lot of water has flown down the rivers into the oceans. we never lost each other and whenever we had contact we talked about (our) life(s) and of course about music - what music can do, how we experience the music and how we spread it as DJs - wonderful and philosophical conversations. sometimes we sat around a campfire, once we drove back from a festival or it was just behind the DJ desk but everytime we spend wonderful hours together. so during our talks and over the time I came up with the idea that it would be nice if some of my friends will create an recording again. I talked with a few of them and now, what shall I tell you? they all like the idea and are IN - I am so pleased about it! HAFT is a music production partnership between Sam Naseh and Amir Subb, two individuals who have always made their own distinct combinations of rhythms and melodies.

Together they create a new unique deep and dark sound with eastern flavor - a seamless mix of traditional Middle Eastern instruments and modern techno.

Their second EP on Exotic Refreshment entitled Black Udo will be out on November 5 and will include three original tracks, but also three remixes from San Miguel (Lump Records, Pipe & Pochet, Souq Records, LNDKHN), Lukas Endhardt (Underyourskin Records, Amselcom) and Anatolian Sessions (Ready Mix Records, Souq Records, Art Vibes Music, Pipe & Pochet). .
