Plaisirs Sonores Records is proud to unveil Golden Flight EP, a dynamic new release featuring a collaboration between Nicolas Viana and Federico Monachesi. The EP includes two original tracks, Golden Flight and Coral, bringing together the unique styles and strengths of each artist to deliver a compelling progressive house experience.

Nicolas Viana, from Argentina, has been steadily building his reputation in the progressive and melodic house scene with releases on respected labels and support from leading DJs worldwide. He previously appeared on Plaisirs Sonores Records with Endgame, a standout collaboration with Anonimat. Known for lush melodies, emotive atmospheres, and impeccable production skills, Nicolas continues to craft music that resonates both on the dancefloor and in personal listening.

Federico Monachesi, hailing from Italy, makes his debut on Plaisirs Sonores Records with this release. Federico has developed a signature sound that blends organic textures, deep grooves, and emotive chord progressions. With a growing presence in the international electronic music scene, he brings a refined sense of musicality and energy to this collaboration.

The EP opens with the title track, Golden Flight, an uplifting, melody-driven journey with hypnotic rhythms perfect for sunset & sunrise moments. Coral offers a deeper, more intricate exploration, demonstrating the artists versatility while maintaining a strong groove for the dancefloor.

Kryder and Dave Winnel have joined forces for the latest release from Steve Angello’s Size Records. A first time collaboration between the two producers, ‘Apache’ will be released on September 4th.

Powered by driving sub bass, ‘Apache’ engenders the spirit of 90’s rave music, with synths blaring out over the 4/4 beat, creating a unique interpretation of the  powerful house music Size has become synonymous with.

Kryder has spent the last few years building a cult fan base and cementing his name within the electronic music scene with fans, producers and DJs alike. With two IDMA nominations and multiple beatport top 10s, his self-styled, ‘Cartel’ has been taking over the globe. Australian Dave Winnel broke through with his big track ‘Achtung!’ in 2013, which became an anthem for the summer, being played at festivals and clubs worldwide. Since then, Dave has released on some of the most prestigious and well respected labels including Axtone, Big Beat and Def Jam, managing to get the support from the likes of Oliver Heldens, Pete Tong, Axwell and many more in doing so. Equally talented behind the decks, his skills have also seen him perform highly acclaimed sets at Pacha Sydney, Future Music Festival and Stereosonic.

The idea for this anthem came in one day, but the track will endure the summer and beyond? No wonder that since Kryder premiered it, fans and DJ’s are eager to get their hands on “ADA”. “ADA” is pure, an outing of creativity without any boundaries. The track sounds organic, has a progressive feel and contains a bit of tribal. Everyone at Code Red got instant goosebumps when they heard “ADA” for the first time with its iconic xylophone, massive trumpets and amazing break that takes you on a musical journey.

Marcus Schössow and NEW_ID both outdid themselves with “ADA”. Their first collaboration has the potential to become one of the summer anthems of 2016. When we sent out the first promo’s the feedback went from very positive to euphoric and ecstatic. Swedish electronica band Highly Sedated have recruited enigmatic duo CYA to remix their single ‘Make Love’, which is due for release on 12th May via Steve Angello’s SIZE imprint. 

CYA’s rendition boasts swarming synth patterns and a driving bassline, surrounding a captivating male vocal. The original of ‘Make Love’ was released last year and was met with acclaim. The atmospheric track rapidly became a firm fixture in Angello’s sets and it continues to thrive online.

Formed in 2015, Highly Sedated is a result of a group of brother-like friends with a wide difference of musical backgrounds coming together. Their latest single, ‘Last Call’ is another strong display of their eclectic taste and genre-bending style. 

CYA’s remix follows their debut release ‘Mistakes’ which received its first play on Angello’s BBC Radio 1 residency show and received support from Pete Tong, who played the track on his revered show. This summer, the duo will be playing The Ghost Ship’s second phase, one of the biggest festivals in the Mediterranean Sea.

The dark, anthemic remix is set to add to the excitement surrounding both Highly Sedated and CYA’s flourishing careers.

In Marcus’ words, “we wanted to create a place where our musical dreams can run wild”. A core value of this belief is to “speak to each other daily, seeking to help and assist wherever possible”. Not in the form of a constitution or set of rules, but creative freedom.

Code Red is focused on the musical journey and experience. Here, we value charts just as much as discovery. At the core of this journey is interaction. Through the shared vision of Marcus, our artists and our fans, we aspire to expand our quest for musical freedom and friendship.

Friendship is an important construct, and this involves you. Through interviews, tutorials and feedback sessions, we at Code Red want to hear your thoughts and help you improve your music. We want you to become part of this shared belief, and “have the options to create what we really want to do, without anyone telling us how”.
