The original Mixer Fixer EP released back in 2019 with major success. And now, 4 years later, Part 2 is here! Here's the rundown: we have 3 remixes of Mixer Fixer along with the original. The Berretta Bros. smash it in their version with killer brass and brilliant, dramatic arpeggios layered over a killer low end beat. Debonaire's remix is packed tight with fresh flare on the oldkool sounds, pitched 808s, and cleans hats and snares one would expect from the legend himself. DOH kills it in his rendition with it's hard knocking bass, smashing snares, and his signature driving force style. None of these 3 can go wrong on the dance floor!

Salim Rafiq (aka Gucci Bass) is a no-holds-barred producer straight out of the Miami heat with originality and a fresh perspective on the Electro sound. His signature sound and writing style consists of thumping 808s, juicy basslines, clean, crisp hats, and refreshing synth leads like no other. The lead cut on Miami group Code Rising’s new EP, ‘1984’, is a celebration of electro’s birth in the selfish decade. With sci-fi blips and chattering beats, plus lyrics extolling the movement’s spread across the US, it’s good fun. But ‘Syntheticism’ is of more interest to DJs, with its minimalist aesthetic and abstract FX.

Code Rising - Gotta Have Soul

Code Rising is an American Electro duo that was formed in 2010 and consists of Matt Lancaster (South Carolina) and Ryan Phillips (South Florida). Over the years, Code Rising has shared the stage and worked with some of the biggest names in the Electro music scene; performing live mainly in Miami and the surrounding Florida coasts.

After a healthy line of digital releases on Monotone Records from 2010-2013, the duo saw the release of their first full-length CD "Dissemination Protocol" on their own label, Propulsion Recordings. 2021 saw the largest release from the duo yet; "A Spectral Odyssey" was released digitally via BandCamp with a whopping 18 track playlist. Accounting for original and collaborative work, the duo have more than several 12" EP releases in their catalogue. Most of the Code's discography can be found on Soundcloud and Bandcamp!
