Weird story behind this track.  Here it goes...This all happened back in January of this year (2019).  The first tune I heard that got me into bass house music was Expect Us - Welcome To The Basement [BOX OF CATS].  I first heard it on their Lost Catalog comp that dropped January 10th of this year (2019).  I was so inspired by that insane bass line, I just had to see if I had the skills to recreate that exact same sound on my own.  At the same time, my boy Torrfisk was kicking around these vocals he had recorded for a collaboration with Teknicoz on tune they produced called Medicine (released this week 10/24/19 on Sweets & Treats).  He threw them my way.  I had the project open so I dropped the vocals on top and then crushed out this tune....and voila...we have this oddly inspired banger. I’ve been making music for 8 years!

-What do you use to make your tracks? 
I use FL Studio and Ableton

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird? 
I discovered Dirtybird when back to 2014 I heard “Okay” by Shiba San in a shoe shop in London, I instantly felt in love with that track!

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most? 
I’d say Walker & Royce but I’d be super happy to collaborate with other DB artists such as Claude VonStroke, Black V Neck, Omnom or Will Clarke.

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you? 
50/50

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to? 
Porter Robinson & Madeon, Shelter Tour @ Melkweg, Amsterdam 

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go? 
Anywhere in the future when the pandemic will be finally finished and we’ll be able to party all together again, who knows, maybe a Dirtybird Campout haha!

-What species of bird best describes you and why? 
Probably an Owl

-What does Dirtybird mean to you? 
Big label and a big family with a roster of very talented artists and a lovely fan base
