Arctica - Redshift

This track is named after one of the main heroines of the marvelous movie "Her", voiced by the incomparable Scarlett Johansson. Her gentle and velvety voice gave a special charm to the entire picture, and now - to this composition. I thank all the creators of this film for an exciting story and inspiration. Conversations between Theodore and Samantha have strongly sunk into my soul, and I wanted to transfer my feelings into the music. I think that I'm not the only one who was inspired by this love story between human and an operating system with artificial intelligence. A great example of wonderful cyber romance!
This film poses magnificent questions. What do you need to love someone? What is the personality and self-consciousness? What is the true power of love and its essence? All these reflections make this story even deeper and more interesting. 
Let's plunge into this wonderful musical atmosphere together with the main characters played by Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson.

This music was inspired by the fifth episode of the beautiful TV series Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams called "Real Life".
Another great story that asks questions on the topic of virtuality and dreams in the future world. How realistic can an artificially modeled world be? What opportunities can it give to the people? What secrets of our consciousness and subconscious will it help to open?
In the semantic basis of this composition is the dialogue of two heroines, discussing a new technology of artificial dreams, which can be as real as their life. They are played by the amazing actresses Rachelle Lefevre and Anna Paquin, whose beautiful voices brought a special and unique atmosphere to this track. 
I thank the wonderful author Philip K. Dick and all the creators of this fascinating series for the wonderful stories, a unique visual language, and inspiration.

I have to admit, I wanted to make a musical story based on Zack Snyder's great movie "Sucker Punch" for a long time. Wonderful cast, amazing scenario and directing, and most importantly for me - the very interesting monologues and dialogues with the deep meaning. I found everything!
When in the second monologue of this composition, which delighted me at the very first viewing of this film in the cinema, Madame Gorski, played by the incomparable Carla Gugino, talks about dance - those words became for me a metaphor for any form of creativity and its great importance, including even the imagination within us. That was confirmed once again by the quote of Mark Twain, which was said, incidentally, by the same character later in the movie: "Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone, you may still exist, but you have ceased to live."
The words that we hear from the magnificent Abbie Cornish at the end of the picture tell us that you and only you are the master of your life and have everything to achieve the desired and realize all your dreams. And the whole movie with its battle scenes, performances, dialogues, and character stories, as well as the call of the heroines of Dr. Vera Gorski and Sweet Pea: "You have all the weapons you need. Now fight!" - are the expression of a magnificent, wise and at the same time simple thought: make and create your own life by yourself and right now because everything is in your hands, including such important tools as imagination and fantasy! 
Also want to note the charming  Jena Malone in the role of Rocket, which mischievous and provocative voice with the phrase "You're gonna wanna watch this..." adds a special playful mood and fervor in the composition.
Perhaps you will notice some similarities in the drum line of this music with one of the most known tracks of the awesome "The Prodigy" band. In the process of making this composition, I was interested to learn how to make a similar sound with such dense energy and drive, which, in my opinion, is very suitable for the style of the musical story based on "Sucker Punch" movie.
I thank all the creators and all the amazing cast of this great film for its stunning atmosphere, wise content and for the inspiration to bring this music here!
