My remix of New World Punx's "Romper" to be entered into the contest put on by New World Punx (Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten). Ended up taking a track that's not my style and attempted to make it my own pushing it into the more progressive vein - a little slower, a lot deeper with a bit of an old school feeling to it.

35 hours, 3 versions later, and a little help from my wife Sarah! Mastered by Alpine Mastering.

Fabio Ferrini & Roland Clark - What That Is - The MiamiBeachBears Remix

Santi Mossman & Rodrigo Mateo have been two of the most talked about new producers from the burgeoning progressive house scene in Argentina. Both Santi and Rodrigo have been firm favorites of Hernan Cattaneo this year with a long line of their productions earning club, radio, and chart support from the storied DJ.

'MicroCosmos' begins with crisp beats and a wonderful complement of drums. The introduction of warm bass tones, angelic pads, and wonderfully processed pianos lay down a strong musical theme as the composition begins to build. This heartfelt melodic component is perfectly offset with some rough vocal elements, which add just the right amount of character and gritty texture to the track’s celestial canvas. Shimmering trails of effects and panning percussion dominate the track’s apex which has the soaring harmonies reaching an elegant peak.

Making his third appearance on Perspectives is the well-known Hungarian producer Peter Golyan aka Lank. He’s become one of the most loved artists in the new school of progressive house and his releases on Proton, Mesmeric, and microCastle have been championed by the world's biggest DJs. Lank's interpretation goes down as one of his best productions to date. The morphing sheets of well-textured low end frequencies create a wonderful harmonic haze. The brilliant melodic theme is exquisitely recreated with heart-wrenching vocal stabs and quirky sequences of electronic tones which only further the deep emotional reaches of the record.

The second remix is provided by Sahar Z who, along with the original artists, is making his debut on the label. The Israeli studio veteran has a meticulous discography which includes appearances on Bedrock, Sudbeat, and Lost & Found. Sahar's 'MicroCosmos' interpretation adds some amazing funk to the track and works very well alongside the two more progressive sounding versions. The strong melodic themes from the original are presented in a much more restrained fashion and allows Sahar's trippier electronics and irresistible groove to really shine. This has already been featured in Hernan Cattaneo's monthly chart and radio show so you know it's one not to be missed!

Dr. Avalance brings his wisdom to table for us to feast on this remix delight. Filled with a funky bass line to match the guitar from original, plenty of piano stabs and vocals leaving everyone satisfied.
Jeremias Ferreyra deepens things up a bit and focuses mainly on the piano melody over ethereal pads and sampling the original vox while bringing the funk guitar closer to the foreground.
Leach & Lezizmo bring their "deep, sexy & exotic" sound and give a us Deep House version sure to make your feet move.
The master, Konstatin Alt a.k.a. LoQuai, takes things in a different direction and tells a story with a progressive, uplifting vibe.

The debut artist album by Alexey Mazhaev has cut all previous records achieved by the Russian progressive label during the entire two-years-long activity. Already in the first week after hitting the online music stores «Constant Religion» climbed up the Beatport charts like no other Intricate Records release ever did before, the longplay was also featured in the top list of most sold albums on iTunes Russia in the category «Dance music». One week later Fon.Leman announced a forthcoming extended play which includes three tracks from the album at once. Now is the time to reveal the first official single which is based on the main theme of the album «Constant Religion». The Intro Mix and the album version are as like as two peas in the main part. Next comes the Club Mix — it transforms the calm and serene mood of the original version into a lively dance-focused hit. Finally, the remixes by Russian duo of Perm-based producers, Aerofeel5, and Deep Lark from Nizhny Novgorod, have that special warm and steady progressive sound — both remixes do not jibe with the philosophy of Intricate concept.

For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.
