PAWEL, można powiedzieć artysta-enigma. Jest niepowtarzalny, nietuzinkowy i nie daje się łatwo wsadzić w jakiekolwiek ramy. Na polskiej scenie muzycznej działa niezwykle aktywnie, angażuje się w wiele projektów i prężnie toruje sobie drogę na szczyt. Pochodzi z Bydgoszczy, lecz słychać o nim w najdalszych zakamarkach Polski. Możecie go znać z ulubionych klubów jak i również od strony modelingowej, gdy podbił serca fashionistów na pokazie mody MISBHV. 

Można powiedzieć, że świeża krew na scenie elektronicznej, lecz jednocześnie to doświadczony zawodnik za deckami. Jest miłośnikiem winyli, a każdy jego występ intryguje i sprawia, że chcesz jeszcze WIĘCEJ. Porywał tłumy podczas ogromnej ilości eventów w ciągu ostatnich dwóch lat. Instytut Rave Arena, Wisłoujście, Project Masow Art & Music Camp, to tylko niektóre z imprez na których zatrząsnął parkietem. Jest również stałą częścią imprez spod szyldu DUEL. 
Fascynuje go jazda na rowerze.

We are back with the Instytut presents series with Maro Music ✨

Together we present you a series of curated DJ sets broadcasted in programs - Bass Face in Radio Kampus as well as Addicted to Music in Dash Radio, Eibiza Radio group, Jack'd Up Radio 🔥

Artists presented in this series have been working with us on various events under the lightning banner. They have made their mark with incredible skills and music selection, which you'll be able to experience listening to these sets ⚡️

The third artists in the series is PAWEL 🖤  

PAWEL, you can say an arist-enigma. He is unconventional, unique and you cannot put a label on him. Works incredibly hard and is constantly getting involved in various projects. He was born in Bydgoszcz but you can hear people talking about him in the furthest corners of Poland. You may know him from your favourite clubs or from his modeling side, as a MISBHV fashion show debutante. 

You can say that he is a fresh face on the music scene, but behind the decks he behaves like a true professional. He is a vinyl enthusiast and each of his sets leaves the audience intrigued and begging for MORE. He swept up the crowds during a vast number of events throughout the past two years. Instytut Rave Arena, Wisłoujście, Project Masow Art & Music Camp are just a few amongst many shows that he rocked. He is also an integral part of the DUEL parties. 
He is fascinated by cycling.

Codeword welcomes Truant (@TruantWarsaw), resident of Warsaw techno clubs Smolna and Luzztro and founder of Equalized Events in the Polish capital. 

A leading figure within the Polish underground techno scene, Truant started out at legendary club Paragraph 51 in 2004 and has since played across his home country spanning clubs and festivals, playing alongside the likes of Dax J, Rødhåd, Rebekah and more.

His mix for Codeword demonstrates a penchant for high-tempo dance music encompassing timeless groove, clean melodies and rolling basslines.

Next up in the series is Linn Elisabet. As founder of the Acts of Rebellion, Linn portrays their transgressive interpretation of techno: ambient soundscapes and genre-bending arrangements that tell a story in itself, all led by their ethereal vocals.
The next hour perfectly represents their style: a journey from begin to end, through the depths and beyond.

MARCIN FOGLER CLOSING SET SAMOGĘSTE X POGOTOWIE TECHNO

For our final show of 2021, @codeword-london hosts Biri, one of Tel Aviv’s finest electronic-music exports. @biri1990's signature blend of trippy, hypnotic and deep techno releases have been snapped up by leading labels including Len Faki’s @figure.official, Inland’s @counterchange-inland , Derrick May’s @transmat,  and most recently with his latest EP, 'Untitled Drift' on Psyk’s @nonseries.

Biri’s musical and geographic journey from his hometown Jerusalem to Tel Aviv, via Berlin and now London, also includes a successful collaboration as artist duo Deep’a and Biri and founding the label Black Crow. As a solo artist in his own right, Biri is pushing the boundaries of deep techno and IDM and is on a trajectory that merits serious attention.

A new podcast has just landed! This time we present you a mix of the Hungarian producer - CVRDWELL! Enjoy !

[BIO]:
The Budapest born, but Berlin based artist acquired his DJ craftsmanship at the age of 13, almost two decades ago. Since that time he had become a familiar face of Budapest nightlife. Not only performed, but also organised various events from disco to techno in the past years. From his very early age, he has been into music production as well. He had releases on various labels under different aliases, like Global Underground, Baroque or Perfect Driver just to name a few. Beside his own carrier, he is steering an indie record label, ’SpaceWalker Recordings’ and a Budapest based techno event series, ’Vault Budapest’. His music continuously evolved over the years due to the various impressions of the almost two decades that he has spent in the DJ booth and to the fact that he has always been a die-hard raver. His sound is obscure, analog fuelled techno, spiced up with a sense of melancholy. Recently he has started to perform dawless, hardware only live acts which gained recognition from the Hungarian techno scene.

Codeword returns for its first Threads Radio show of 2022 (episode 27) hosting Viels (@viels), a rising star among a new generation of techno artists. The Milan-based artist has charted releases across labels including Non Series, Semantica, Dynamic Reflection, Edit Select and most recently a 4-track EP on @oscarmulero's Warm Up Recordings.

The founder of End of Perception (@endofperception) and resident at Milan's Acquario Immersioni is gaining recognition for his rugged, mechanical,  intense and groove-filled releases and DJ sets, and this 1h vinyl-only mix for Codeword is no exception.

Codeword hosts Sabinē (@sabina-inoyatova), the Riga-based, Uzbekistan-born DJ, producer, club-programmer and event promoter. 

Sabinē is making waves across central and eastern Europe and Eurasia with her direct, industrial-infused techno - and this 1h mix for Codeword on Threads Radio is no exception.

Having played alongside the likes of Nina Kraviz, Answer Code Request, Perc, Sigha and more, upcoming dates include a debut in Baku, Azerbaijan and an event at her home-base in Latvia with MCMLXXXV.

For Episode 29, Codeword hosts Raketka, the Belarus-born DJ, event organiser and electronic-music educator. Since 2009, Raketka has travelled the world with a bag of vinyls, spanning Santiago de Chile, Berlin and landing in southern India, where she holds a residency at Cirrus club in Goa.

Once noted for her Detroit, dub-techno and acid influences, in recent years @Raketka has been recognised for her 'out of genre' DJing including making the shortlist for Mixmag mix of the year and appearing on Boiler Room. True to form, Raketka offers up a 1h sojourn for Codeword on Threads Radio across techno, deep techno, house, acid, rave and more.
