It&#8217;s time for some shadowy business from Dennis Bunas, and he kicks off this EP with a title track featuring effects from the netherworlds and an array of apocalyptic synth warblings. Cyclic patterns and persistent percussive stabs lead us smoothly to &#8220;Ambassandor&#8221; where a busy rhythm section and shuffling drums gallop frantically, while warped robotics get swiftly to work.

Spiros Kaloumenos sails the seas of blackness with this two-tracker and right off the bat we are introduced to a mechanized groove carrying effects from the shadows, violent synthesis and droning pads.In &#8220;Synergy&#8221;, industrial overtones set the mood while discreet circuit bending and off-kilter effects provide the twisted, claustrophobic vibe.

The label bosses The Advent and Industrialyzer team up with Hugo Paixao and they are releasing an excellent EP on Codeworks. Kicking off this EP is the title track ‘Mutant’ which creates a big chunky affair full of dark beats with smooth percussion on the foreground. A very nice and intense production with smooth string getting along. ‘Twisted’ follows, featuring stabbing and rolling deep basslines mixed up with nice and melodic riffs. Can be better than that? Three excellent producers getting along and they produce two techno anthems for Codeworks. Enjoy
