If you were lucky enough to find yourself at closing sets at Movement Detroit, Pressure Glasgow, Junction 2 London, Summer Story Madrid, Governors Island New York, Rebel Toronto, Awakenings Amsterdam or Glastonbury, there is no doubt you would have pulled a face when you heard 'Point of No Return' for the first time. Radio Slave’s momentous ‘Another Club’ receives two thumping remixes from SRVD and Charlotte de Witte.

‘Another Club’ was the 100th release on Rekids and dropped as the label celebrated a milestone ten years. It unquestionably became one of Techno’s biggest tracks ever made. Two years later, the landmark production receives outstanding remixes from two of the genre’s most salient artists: NovaMute producer Charlotte de Witte, who’s just collaborated with Chris Liebing on her newly launched KNTXT imprint, as well as the ever-impressive Patrick Mason and Radio Slave who team up again as SRVD.

Charlotte de Witte’s remix of ‘Another Club’ marches forward with pounding 909 style kicks, hooking acid hits, fleeting voice samples and haunting pads. SRVD’s remix then uses the vocals as stabs, adding tension with rave inspired synths, buzzing keys and splashing cymbals, while locking it all together with thundering drums and sub frequency rumbles.

Paris-based DJ & producer AIROD aka Dario Brkic returns to Amelie Lens’ Lenske for his second 12” on the Belgian label, ‘Rave Cycle’. If you’ve come across Amelie Lens’ all-new fabric presents mix, then the name of Ahl Iver shall definitely ring a bell. In addition to a forthcoming appearance at the next Exhale party in Antwerp in February 2020, where he’ll get to share the stage with Richie Hawtin, Helena Hauff, Kobosil, Stephanie Sykes and the whole LENSKE family, new sensation Ahl Iver is undeniably on the cusp of big things, and his debut EP, ‘Haunted Patterns’, sets the tone in gutsy fashion.

The opening track ‘7AM’ features a punchy gabber kick and rush, hard-hitting drums and a healthy dose of slimy acid squelch to leave you dazed and confused for a while. Adding his ever efficient spin to the original, LENSKE mainstay Milo Spykers reworks the groove onto straightforward clubby railway as he sure knows well how to subdue the dancers through the most wildly enjoyable ankle-twisting/brain-melting manoeuvres.

As its name suggests the title-track ‘Haunted Patterns’ is a spooky dance floor affair. Allowing a 4/4 hell to break loose on the basement while enveloping it in further hypnotic synths and intense cosmic vibrations. Lovers of classic Altern-8 style hardcore shall find the perfect outlet to their headbanging fantasies in the euphoria-inducing ‘Rave Simulator’. With four cuts tailored to take clubs and dance floors by storm, Ahl Iver steps up for his debut record on LENSKE.

Dok & Martin are back on AnalyticTrail with their first solo EP for the imprint having previously contributed asolo track to one of the labels compilations.

In addition to AnalyticTrail, the guys have also featured tracks and remixes on labels such as Set About,Orange Recordings, Codex, Form and the fresh new label Autektone.

Playing gigs across Europe and other parts of the world, their tracks travel even further, often picking up bigname support from people like Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, Eats Everything, and Richie Hawtin hasbeen one of the main supported of their tracks.

Track one Destroyer opens the release with an old-school flare that tips its hat to the classic rave sound.Next up is The Sacred which keeps the same aggressive energy as its predecessor with a stompingbassline and slamming groove. Android closes off the EP with rumbling sub bass and a stripped backatmosphere filled with ominous tension.
