@rsrrctmusic is an upcoming Amsterdam based producer and DJ. He got his start playing in the illegal raves tucked away in the corners of warehouses and old office buildings in the Amsterdam area, and has taken these experiences and use them the last several years to hone his own productions. RSRRCT  joins the IAMT Red family with two dark and melodic techno tracks on his EP, 'Dukes of Dopamine'. The title track lives up to its name with a strong underlying drive juxtaposed against a melodic backdrop that gives it a dark yet euphoric touch. 'Crossing the Styx' is the second track and presents a more stripped and ubpeat vibe while maintaining the flavor of the''s overall EP. Markantonio welcomes The Southern for his second solo EP on AnalyticTrail, following his releases on other trendsetting labels such as Tronic, Odd Recordings, EI8HT and KD Raw.

With supporters of his music including everyone from Eats Everything to Carl Cox, The Southern has been one of the breakthrough techno artists of the last few years.

Last time The Southern featured on AnalyticTrail in 2018 he was still relatively unknown, but two years later he returns as a hot property whose every new release comes highly anticipated.

The Southern - Sequenza Ritmica

Jeremy has always been obsessed with music. As a child he would make drum kits out of boxes or pots and pans. By the time he was ten he had taught himself to play the guitar. He grew up on his parents collection of classical, blues, rock, 80s pop and heavy metal. Such a mixture of influences gave him a love of all music, past and present. 
At the age of 18, finally able to get in to clubs, he discovered House and Techno for the first time and fell in love with it. A few years later a friend sold him his first turntables and he became instantly hooked on DJing.
It wasn't long until he moved from bedroom DJ to playing local bars and clubs.  Within his first few months he landed sets at Londons most iconic clubs where he played a mix of House, Tech house and Techno on a weekly basis. Residencies for various clubs and promotions in London and Kent soon followed. 
After a break to focus on music production Jeremy began to produce house and techno, he was inspired at the time by Maya Jane Coles and Richie Hawtin and his tracks got air time on some of Londons underground radio stations.
He currenlty resides in London UK where he continues to learn and grow as an artist and produce Techno.

'No Going Back' EP consists of two Techno tracks that are on the harder side of Techno. Both tracks, like all Jeremy's music are about making people feel good and dance. The author want the people who hear it to want to dance no matter where they are. Either it happened in the club or while waiting for the train home after a hard days work. The EP contains hard kicks that drive the tracks with rumbling bass, haunting pads, hard leads and percussive elements that make one want to move his body.
