Patterns of Perception 40 - Sidney & Suleiman

Irish born Nathan Jones has been crafting his unique sound as DJ & Producer for over a decade. His focus and passion  has led him to be booked for headline performances across the clubbing and festival circuit of Europe. Playing dance floors in Germany, Croatia, Cyprus and Greece while maintaining residencies and regular performances in his hometown, Dublin. 
Nathan’s style behind the decks is improvised and is always aiming take dancers on a journey through genres bound together by entrancing rhythms that range form soft & soulful to hard & intense - often taking dancers in unexpected turns with electric selections. Keeping his ethos, whatever is right for the moment.
As a producer, Nathan has been working hard to produce a range of edgy, pulsating yet colourful techno that has seen support from some of the most current names in Techno such as Rødhåd, Blawan, DVS1, Anetha and Laurent Garnier. His discography consists of two solo vinyl releases on Dublin based label ‘Vision Collector Records’ and a third on Argentina’s ‘Concepto Hypnotico’. 
Nathan’s next record is due to be released this November on ‘Delinquent Delivery Records’.

The Black Lodge is a party crew, production unit, and record label based out of Los Angeles, California. While the exact number of members are unknown and are most likely intertwined with many aliases and numerous collabs, they over these last years, have a long reach in their local music community, consistently putting on subversive events under the adverse circumstances that face LA, creating a place for their crew to grow.

For this mix we get two members of the crew Kosmik and Force Placement each with their own 30 min mixes here. Both showcase The Black Lodge sound, with numerous unreleased productions interspersed with cuts from friends around the globe and classics from their vaults. Both mixes are unrelenting and crushing examples of their takes on modern electronics.

Sirio Grimaldi is the founder of Monolith Records and resident of the eclectic project Liber Null Berlin; born in Rome in the late 80s, he discovered the world of deejaying firstly inspired by the "Sound Of Rome". After digging the London scene he moved to Berlin, playing in the main clubs like Berghain Säule, Tresor, Arena, Griessmühle, About Blank, Suicide Circus (and more...). There it was established Monolith Records, a music platform which looks ahead to the grim future of humankind, delivering electronics as compositions translating different philosophical stances, mainly about the human condition. The parallel development of darker aesthetics through the Liber Null Berlin residency, proliferating over Berlin first, then Europe and Asia, shapes the unique mystical Idm obscure-ravey output of the deejay sets, that can morph from slow-haunting and experimental warmups to destructive dancefloor actions through a wide range of genres, constantly mashed up (such as Techno, Industrial, Idm, Ambient, Breaks, Acid, Electro; following no rules in matter of bpm). Also art director of the event series Metamorphosis happening in Suicide Circus every couple of months, he's genuinely contributing to the scene with constant dedication and focus on quality.
