The Seven Last Sayings of Jesus refer to the final seven expressions Jesus spoke while he was dying on the cross, as recorded across the four Gospels in the New Testament. These sayings are deeply meaningful, reflecting Jesus’ humanity, divinity, forgiveness, compassion, and fulfillment of scripture. They include his words of forgiveness, promise of paradise, care for his mother and the World, expression of abandonment, physical suffering, completion of his mission, and final trust in God.
