She rolls up slow with her hair in a mess— 
Coffee in hand  and a sundress guess. 
Tunes on shuffle  playin’ songs we forgot, 
And her smile says she’s thinkin’ a lot. 
She asks, “You drivin’?” I say, “Only fair.”
Now we’re crackin’ jokes  in the drive-thru air.
Two hearts beatin’ like a radio dial— 
We’re half past normal  and way past mild.
