Road Rash - Grass Valley (Atari Lynx Chiptune Cover) [MIKEY]

Wendy's theme is an underrated song in an already-underrated soundtrack, so I wanted to give it some much-needed love!

This was a challenging remix with all the tempo changes and complex layering, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Also put it in a new key, just because.

Fun fact: The original song, despite claiming to be in G, is actually in C. I guess you could argue that they meant G mixolydian, but that seems like a stretch tbh.

Castlevania II: Simon's Quest - Bloody Tears [YM2203, PMD]

If somebody made a "panic attack to MP3" converter it would spit out the soundtrack to The Simpsons arcade game. It's got a lot of frantic, loosely-defined songs, and I think that transfers well to an NES format.

This was a fun one to do. I haven't done DPCM orchestra hits like this before and it was pretty cool to work with.

Y'know, as much as Bad Dudes is popular for its meme status, I'm genuinely surprised the second stage theme isn't more popular. I feel like it should be up there with The Moon or Wily 1. I'm starting to think nobody actually played this game..........
